To repeat a comment I made elsewhere:

If you log into the Widmore site incorrectly, the error it throws says:

Access Verification Unexpectedly Offline: #CERB815

This goes along with the thought that the Island's security system (black smoke) is the Cerberus that is mentioned on the blast door map. Cerberus may also exist as a part of the Hanso/DHARMA inter/intranet.

I can't say for sure. If the site becomes active, then it may be used in the game. If not, it may just be a facade for furthering the atmosphere of the show.

I was just commenting on its apparent authenticity.

Has anyone else tried translating any of the comments left in Itallian at the Valenzetti Foundation Blog? It seems to be some sort of correspondence between the guy running the site and some old girlfriend or something. She talks about about the search for his missing father, and a group of sceintists exploring every possible feild of investigation. (Or something like that, the translation is really garbled.) It also mentions something about the "University of the Wisdom". And when you do a google search for that the first thng that comes up is a Wisdom University. (Actually I think that web-site has nothing to do with the Lost expreience but in an utterly bizzare coincidence Wisdom University is run by a professor Matt Fox.) Anyway I don't know if any of this means anything or not but I thought some ne with a tad more ingenuity than my-self might want to see what they can drag out of it.

All of the sites listed on the main entry and fakes with the exception of widmore.com.

A whois lookup if widmore.com says that it is registered to:
Inc, ABC admin@widmore.com
ABC, Inc.
77 West 66th Street
New York, New York 10023
United States

Meanwhile the others are random sites (some even registered & hosted through godaddy.com).

Interestingly enough here are some other tidbits:
Registered tO:
Cameron Widmore, 320 W 66th Street, New York NY
This address is a known address of an ABC Studio for "The View."

http://www.thewidmoregroup.com - Not verified by a WHOIS, but rather the pages and images served in the gallery on minnesotametalurgy.com come from this domain.

http://www.hansogroup.com - Again, Not verified by WHOIS, however going to the main page of thewidmoregroup.com redirects you through this url and then passes you off to thehansofoundation.org.

Found this by going through the FAQ at the Velenzetti site. He has a link at the bottom to "Caroline", which has a link to "My favorite author". That site about S.K. Nave has a list of books (including "Here There Be Dragons" which was written on the blast door on the show) and a biography. In the biography, there is a link about "crackpots" and then on that page is a link about "Michael Sontag". On that page is a link to "Michael Sontag" again, which shows his personal page. The ISBN barcode there is for Fantasia (the Disney film) and if you select-all on his page, it reveals text that says "Stephenson was wrong. There are five. He missed weapons." and some morse code. Using a java translator, the morse code says: "EMAIL GRENDEL AT GLOBALPARADIGMSCORP DOT COM TO FIND HIS CAGE". I have emailed that address, but haven't received a response yet.

Halliburton (Dick Cheney's Company) also came up when I did a search for Korean Offshore Project. Hmmmm....

Enrico Valenzetti's page at the Valenzetti Foundation website (http://www.valenzettifoundation.org/enrico.html) has links to @Our famous ancestor' (http://www.dayfornight.com/dev/abc/followersoframbaldi/rambaldi.html) - the Rambaldi page, and 'Enzo's favourite author (http://www.angelfire.com/rings/mygrandmothersbooks/) - a site dedicated to SK Nave and her books. On the biog page on this site, under the hyperlink 'crackpots', is a link to a page discussing a conspiracy regarding the author's death, and makes mention of Michael Sontag, referring back to the page on 'Project Chthonic'. Has any of this got ANYTHING to do with the Lost Experience? If so, how? Please let me know!

There is a link that says "About Paik-Heavy Industries" but I couldnt get it to go anywhere.
I did, however find a hidden link on the page by using the tab key. It is located right above the "About Paik-Heavy" link.
If you click on it, a window opens up that says:
"Sorry it didn't work out, it was a group try. If you see an oval rash you must deal with it immediately. Or at least check the source.

There wasn't much we could do about the open sphere. She was on a phone spree and we had to get out of there.

misterinvisible mentioned Alias earlier. I watched the show (for the first time) last night and was surprised at some of the things that came up. Since this is JJ's world, I don't count out the two shows being tied together somehow. Some character went to a used bookstore in Geneva (Hanso public appearance) to get a book by Rimbaldi to decipher a code by Joseph Panara. I know someone mentioned a used bookstore somewhere on this blog. Sydney and her guy friend ended up in a German bunker with pics of war planes on the wall. This made me think of Mittlewerk and his past. They also mentioned "Prophet 5" who I assume are the big baddies on Alias, and they said "most of these projects still exist." There are other similarities like the Virgin Mary and Sydney having a double (Bad Twin) for the episode (surgery, not cloning or a twin).

All of you looking at the Valenzetti page and having gotten through S.K. Nave and the Accuracy Institute to Global Paradigms- you got to the page http://www.globalparadigmscorp.com/secure/cage
The page is password protected and appears to be a dead end.
Delete cage from that address and then select the other page in the directory: http://www.globalparadigmscorp.com/secure/docs

On that page you find a world map with links to four pages with photos of mythical monsters as follows:
US- fenris
USSR- chernabog
India- shiva
China- ? (literally a big red question mark)

These are all monsters of one sort or another, but Chernabog is interesting because it is a creature of darkness and is the monster from Fantasia...the greatest fear of Michael Sontag.

I have no idea if this is all a fan-created site, but if it is, it is pretty well hidden given that there are no links to the world map page anywhere that I have seen.

Anyhow, if this is real, it looks like some kind of AI weapon research based on mythical monsters (like Cerberus?).
