Clue #35 - Persephone (8) Hugh McIntyre Busted!

EDIT: If you are having trouble following these steps for yourself or if you're trying make sense of this, it might help to walk throug Clue #34 first and then re-login to the Hanso site (in the newsletter section) using "breaking strain" as your password.

Persephone's message before this one was "standby"(See Clue #33). Looks like she knew that she was going to be bringing the goods! Persephone is now trying to tell us something about Hugh McIntyre now...There has been a change to his Bio...and sooo much more!

Persephone displaced Hugh's picture with question marks and added a log in to his bio page.

MICHAEL KOVACS
found the password first next to Buddha (It is also found in several other places...Hey! If you haven't read Clue #34 yet, you should probably do that first before proceeding!). The password is "the mouthpiece".

We typed in "the mouthpiece" on Hugh McIntyre's bio. Click on "devoted to family values". See Persephone's message. Click on the picture and then the falling objects.

Enjoy the juicy tidbits of gossip Persephone shares with us about the so-called "family man".

Uhm...how was this all figured out so fast? Hacking the source code seems kind of like "cheating", but I don't see where else you got the password. Does anyone have a legitimet way of finding the password?

Am I the only one left that can't make the password work? I went through the letyourcompassguideyou site and even went into the newsletter to sign in again and it still won't work. How frustrating

Dedjezter, Did you have issues getting onto the hanso site this morning? I did, but I did not have the same effects as others, I had the Hanso loading image and the percentage loaded was the numbers. Also, now that it is up I have noticed that when I page loads and needs the loading image the percantage loaded is also the numbers. Is this new or have I just missed it before now?

Namaste!

This game is amazing. Not only have the writers and producers done a fantastic job with it, but all of us have different PC settings and what not and at times get different results. SO to answer your question, I have no idea why you have a green screen, but CG polar bears and a dancing Walt would be hilarious!!

Radiogurl

You had to sign in to the newsletter again all along... the prompt for the password has been there since day one... read the clues first before doing things and you wont have that much trouble.

On the fleet pricing for the Jeeps -- the Senior Manager who signed the letter is William T. Kilpatrick. You just gotta Google Bill...what did I find? http://www.stormingmedia.us/70/7098/A709873.html and http://www.mors.org/publications/abstracts/72nd_abs.pdf. Relevant? You decide.

I'm getting a bit frustrated too. I assumed the issues I was having getting "the mouthpiece" to work were with Firefox so I tried IE and followed all the clues from the beginning and tried all variations of "the mouthpiece." I can't get anything to work. I'm fine with just viewing screen caps of what's there, but I'm worried that if I'm unable to get this step to work, I'll have problems getting the following steps to work.

Any suggestions at all? I wanna play too.

Everybody's right, there's just one small detail that's being left out!

They're saying you have to "log in" again with Persephone by going to the newsletter page, and you do- just not the regular homepage. If you do that, she'll just welcome you back and tell you there's no news.

What you have to do is go to the compass page and say you're not one of the good ones. You will be directed to --> http://www.thehansofoundation.org/#section=bios <--

(I'm not sure if you can just go straight there or if you have to go through the compass site)

Once you're there, THEN you log in again with Persephone and it should work.

Cheers!
