Clue #39 - Hugh McIntyre to Appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live

It was announced on last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live and "the Speaker" over at insidetheepxerience.com is also reporting that Hugh McIntyre will appear as a guest on Wednesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. I'm assuming that many international fans do not get this show so we will do a full report and let you know what happens.

Here is what is says on Jimmy Kimmel's website:
Wednesday, May. 24: Actor/director Jon Favreau, Bass Champion Mike Iaconelli, Hugh McIntyre from the Hanso Foundation, Musical guests Elefant.

We're wondering how they are going to introduce Hugh as a character since they used stock photography (from gettyimages.com) for his photo on the Hanso website. Are they going to track that guy down and hire him as an actor or are they just going to expect us to play along with a different Hugh (like when they switch actors for the same character on a soap opera)?

For all of our INTERNATIONAL READERS...We have a faithful fan that is recording this episode and we will post the clip as soon as we get it.

I got a sinking feeling that something will happen that he won't be able to show. He'll leave a voicemail or some kind of voice message for Jimmy and we'll probably get re-directed to his personal website. I just have a feeling that this is going to turn out to be a big clue without seeing who he actually is. I think this will replace the Hanso Commercials we usually see during Lost.

I still think they planeted those pictures on the Getty site.

Maybe the Photograph was taken of the actor and THEN placed in with the rest of the getty stock images...so we see it was stock and wouldn't think about Hugh Mcintyre as much.

Not really. Clicked around on "miracle" and tabbed around on most of the pages to see if there were any new links, but that's all.

for those wondering about the time/day jimmy kimmel is airing - in the tv world, the day starts at 6:00am and runs thru the next day at 5:59am. so it will be counted like wednesday even though it airs after midnite.

OK, I think I just figured it out. I right-clicked and selected "show all" Voila! Decimals. I had reloaded because I don't like the visual results with show-all. Maybe this means nothing after all...

It may be worth storing away in the back of our collective brain. With this thing going on all summer, surely there will be more than one or two clues on a page.

My thought:

If you post something that later is shown to be stupid or a repeat of a previous clue OR something that's just nonsense.... DELETE YOUR COMMENT.

Then it'll be faster to get through all of them.
And that goes for all of us (me included) who are on this site every 2 minutes in case something changes (even though I have the RSS feed up as well).

I repeat, DELETE!

As far as the decimal places go, that is likely just a result of the screen zooming when you select show all, since point 629,921 would have to appear at the same place regardless of screen resolution, the only way to insure that would be to make screen coordinates static, regardless of resolution. That is to say that what appears as a pixel 629,291 in a 1024x768 resolution would not be the same in 640x480, unless the flash area of the window was hardcoded to display at a specific resolution, in which case, decimal places would have to be used result from the conversion. If you think about it, if you were using a resolution of 640x480, and there were no decimal places, the point where the lycgu link resides would be 11 pixels from the right edge of the screen, not at the center of the diagram, as it was intended to be.
Sorry, long post, but I hope it helps.

Wednesday, May. 24: Actor/director Jon Favreau, Bass Champion Mike Iaconelli, Hugh McIntyre, Musical guests Elefant. Bust Stop Giveaway: New York City

Seriously, to say for the hundreth time since this began. It's on Wednesday night. After Lost. Any discussion on this clue is over, since the show hasn't aired

Can people please stop posting about information that has been stated in the blog. In fact, I think the blog writers need so say something about this. You are not special if you find these things. These things have been found. That is the POINT in the blog. Stop randomly clicking the the comments section and and typing stuff.

I'm going to go out on a limb (I know this is the wrong thread- the other is just toooooo long) and google image search for JFK, JR and try to match the pic. I have a concensus at work and with our secondary vendors. Everyone looking at the pic for the first time swears it's him. They haven't been staring at it for 2 days.

MCFARLANE TOYS GETS 'LOST'
Six Exclusive Action Figures Coming to Stores This Fall
May 23, 2006
Copyright 2006 TMP International, Inc.

McFarlane Toys will soon give Lost's legions of fans something new to obsess over. A series of Lost action figures is scheduled to be released late fall, 2006, and is destined to populate office cubicles around the country.

McFarlane Toys' Lost Series 1 captures six fan-favorite characters from the series' first season: Jack, Kate, Locke, Hurley, Charlie and Shannon. Each 6-inch Lost figure will have a detailed base and photographic backdrop, capturing an episode-specific moment in the character's story. In addition, each package will include a detailed prop reproduction central to the character's story, enabling fans to "own" a piece of the show's mythology. For example, Kate's figure will be packaged with a reproduction of the toy airplane that plays so prominently into her backstory. More than just action figures, McFarlane's Lost figures will once again raise the bar for fans and for the industry.

We will also be releasing Lost deluxe boxed sets -- re-creating key moments between multiple characters, and small-scale dioramas -- replicating central locations such as the mysterious island and the infamous hatch.

To say that we are VERY excited about this is an understatement.

Check back tomorrow right here on Spawn.com for our first big reveal -- coinciding with the Lost season cliffhanger: a peek at one of the figures in the first series.

C-ya and Namaste

That is HILARIOUS! Jorge has a pretty good sense of humor to do that.

BTW, and I know I'm going to get chewed on for bringing up an off-game (is it?) site, but did anyone ever get the Oceanic Airlines site to give up whatever it was doing last week with the
ERROR
INCORRECT TIME
Reset
8:15
thing? It's changed again and it looks like two words that are really blurred out. I've been working with it, but haven't gotten anywhere. If you flip it, it almost looks like the second word could be Persephone. Since I can't make sense of this stupid picture, thought I'd look at something else... SIGH!
