Hey all,

I've been lurking the last couple of days trying to catch up with the blog. I tried to get through all the posts but got stuck halfway through the 495 (wow!) posts for clue 29. Anyways, sorry if this comment has nothing to do with this post, but I just wanted to suggest a religious tie-in that I hadn't heard anyone talking about.

I know from reading the comments that some people were talking about the Namaste and it's Hindu roots, but has anyone noticed that the Dharma Initiative symbol has the 8 Trigrams in it? Just a thought, didn't know if there were any other Taoist tie-ins in the show/experience.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to read the rest of the comments.

As far as Lost being tied to Bad Twin sales, I don't think it will affect the show. It is really a separate venture... I have read Bad Twin and submitted a very detailed summary of possible "clues" which I hope the site will post as part of their summary.
If you can't afford the book, try your local library. I bet they have it!

This is an idea from a simpleton, but i heard on the Lostcasts podcast the other day that there were a lot of rambling passages describing the scenary, items, etc that seemed to have no relevance to anything in the story - could there be some code in there, something like the Bible Code, where words can be adjoined from a pattern. For example - on the 4th page, the 8th, 15th, 16th, 23rd and 42nd word say something? This would mean the book could only be sold in one readable format, same font, size etc, so i guess it's a longshot. I haven't got the book, but will do, in the meantime anyone want to check that out?

Granted we have been given a lot of information, we need to find the link. Be patient it will come to us, they have to roll this stuff out little by little, in a few weeks the game is all there will be until next season.

Scott and steve - I love you Craig, glad to hear you're back.
bellyofdesire - a simpleton is an idiot, must be an English word that no one else knows.
nystingray - maybe the pages are bigger so they correlate?

I saw this posted on another forum and thought it was cool:

In the photo on the Mental Health Alliance page, there is a diagram of a skeleton in the background. The same diagram appears in the background in the medical examiner's office.

Comparison shot here: http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i19/QuinceTheCarpenter/The%20Experience/SkeletonComposite.jpg

hi

i know this is off topic, but due to the lack of official clues, i've been surfing around a bit

if you first visit http://www.widmorelaboratories.com/
and scroll down to the link "slow air demo" you get taken to
http://www.squidoo.com/phi-eri/

this is pretty obviously related to the Lost Experience, yet i haven't seen it mentioned anywhere

anyway, the link "questions" goes to a section of the Paik-Heavy industries website, which hasn't revealed any clues yet.
http://www.paik-heavy.com/mythic-hunger.htm

it appears to be a series of clues to what the url at the bottom of the page should be i.e. we need to work out what to replace the 'abcd' part of this address with -
www.paik-heavy.com/abcd.php

has anyone worked out what this is yet?

its got me really worked up as the link for clue B doesn't appear to be working and the first clue is fairly ambiguous as to the right answer!

please someone help as im sure its little things like this that we should be looking for whilst there are no 'official' clues forthcoming

timdeluxe, those sites you mention are not part of the game. scroll down and read previous posts for more info. they are fan sites and will most likely lead you on a wild goose chase.

OK, I admit it. I did it. I fell for the marketing and bought Bad Twin ylast night. Not too horrible as Borders has it for 30% off. All in all, not a bad story as a stand alone, but I don't think I'd have ever bought it without the Lost tie in. Kind of fun with all the familiar names! Bit of a lame ending, though.

There are never to many posts...if you can't take the time to read what has been said...imho you should not bother to put up your own post...nothing drives me more insane than reading the same info three posts down from someone else who just said that.
Each comments section has fifty versions of the same useless information and it is nothing more than insane clutter...
Read comments before you comment please
it only takes about 10 - 15 minutes to read this entire site...
please be comment friendly

Interesting theory... that clue wasalready used and my thought on it was that it was indeed an error on behalf of the ARG creators when they put up the first code... they then gave a clue to lead back to the fixed numbers in the second string... but then again thier could be some kind of connection that might be made at a later date...hmmmmm?

I would also like to add, that in one of the comments someone wrote that in the S1 finale the rafties saw to drainage spouts sticking out of the island...
http://www.lost-media.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&album=486&pos=173
I recently reviewed all of S1 and think that they were not drainage, but just waterfalls, since the right side one shows what looks like a river floowing down above it... my thoughts are that...we know the Blackrock is at the highest point of the island and the group passed a river or two on their way in... so the rivers which natrually find the way to the lowest point would most likely end on those cliffs based on the drawings on the blastdoor

Additional note:
To all those who think that Persephone is Karen Degroot...
This is immpossible for now since she is on the Island with the others... In the Swan orientation film you can see there is a sea shell necklace around her neck in the image of her with her husband when they are listing the projects...
Now in the finale part 2... the woman on the boat with Zeke/Friendly she is the woman who is driving the boat and throws the homemade bomb on the raft (so much for living in peace ay) she wears the same necklace and looks to be older than in the film... it is without a doubt Karen Degroot...
feel free to argue with me or amongst yourselves...lol

It is just before they say zoology you have to look real close since she is slightly turned away from the camera, if you have the dvd,s get to that part and if you can go frame by frame, it's easier to see that way then on the Dharma site movie

There lies in the Ocean an island which is called The Lost. In Charm and all kinds of fertility it far surpasses every other land, but it is unknown to men. Now and again it may be found by chance; but if one seeks it, it cannot be found, and therefore it is called The Lost.
Honorius of Autun, De Imagine Mundi, about AD 1130

Anyone else find this quote interesting? Not sure if it is real or not.

It's a conspiracy theory website now littered with Hanso related stuff. Apparently the link was found in the Hanso site source code, but you can find it on the site itself. Me - haven't seen it yet.

I can't see any immediate "clues" anyplace on the website. At first look, it just appears to have a bunch of stuff linked - like under "Who We're Watching" (AH) and the pictures at the bottom of the screen, the podcast, etc. I'm sure something will come of it since the Speaker made a special note of it.
