SaveJoop.com

I can't believe they did it! This isn't really a clue (we checked, definitely a fan site) but I just got an email about this and had to post it. This is genius. I mentioned wanting someone to make "Save Joop" t-shirts in the podcast and somebody ran with it!!! Everybody stop by this site, sign their petition, and have a good laugh checking out the t-shirt designs...If you listened to the podcast, it looks like I'm buying 10!

EDIT:
From Bearmico in the forums..."Maybe Persephone's code is not talking about missing organs, but missing orangs (AKA Joop has flown the coop or has been stolen by anti-Hanso operatives)"

If you look at the various pictures of "Joop" on the Hanso site, they are obviously different orangutans. Hmmmm...

I think it's cute, besides someone asked for it on the podcast and stated that he'd buy TEN of them if someone made save joop shirts... hehehe

Well then Dave, Dan, and Will can pony up the ten bucks and send me one...My e-mail is listed... because I think it is a shameless ploy to make money off those who just wanted to play a game, based on a show they enjoy

No way I'm paying $10 for such a dumb shirt... I'd rather have one that says something about the Hanso foundation.

I can't believe people are so angry over this site. It's obviously not supposed to be a serious part of TLE. Don't buy a t-shirt if you don't want you, you don't have to. You're not missing out on the game if you don't buy one.
I'd buy one if I had some spare cash.

Can some brainiac who is smarter than me separate the flash and see what else is going on. I have seen in addition to words pictures of stuff like it is one of the old filmstrips. One picture is an eye, another is just a X but I can't catch the rest.

Someone really needs to slow down those flash files for us, there is definately a letter (like a typed letter) and something is spelled out. Wish I knew how to do that...can someone work on that?

Blogger Jena said...

Chase, he fades into a couple of them, I think it's the tobacco one and the nuclear one, you'll see the yellow jacket towards the end of the picture in the center/top part of the screen

SAMMY

You would not get sued if you made a hanso Foundation T-shirt... It would be considered fine under the terms of free use... you are only infringing upon the copyright if you are atempting to make money off of sales of the shirts... so make one and wear it with pride if you like...

Also, the save Joop people maybe in for a rude awakening... as they are useing the image or likeness of Joop and the Name Joop in an attempt to make money.
