Viewing the page source of www.thehansofoundation.org leads us to www.rachelblake.com (her blog is powered by Blogger...just like ours!). You might notice a box under the words "Extra info" in which you can enter text. To find out what to enter go to persephone.thehansofoundation.org.
Persephone's site was updated and it's kinda creepy. Listen to the audio and you'll hear text talking over it saying "101 118 105 100 101 110 116 32 97 103 101 110 100 97" but backwards. When you change from decimal to ascii you get "evident agenda". You now have the password to enter into the "Extra info" box on Rachel Blake's blog. You will be taken to stophanso.rachelblake.com.

I'm really confused. Is anyone else not seeing any changes to Persephone's site? All I see is the picture of the desk that was there a couple of days ago...
o.k. I can barely see something flashing that reminds me of that thing/girl in teh ring so I am now creeped out!

and has any looked at teh source code for the hanso site? Speaker seems to indicate there is a clue there.
If you let it play for about two minutes, there is a backwards voice. It sounds like numbers if you play it backwards. I thought it was just ones and zeros but there are other numbers in there. I can't really make it out as my recorder app blows.

so that is how we were supposed to officially find her

these are the numbers i got think i missed some because of the noise:

so to get the password, you have to record the sound, play it backwards, get the numbers, then translate the numbers for the password "evident agenda". Right?
chelsea, I don't see that. When I try and highlight my european trip it just so a white box, which when I copy and paste into another program says My European Holiday.
did anyone record what the clues were on friday and post them anywhere?

And since monster.com isn't mentioned anywhere on the site.... I'm guessing this isn't EXACTLY how we were supposed to find out the site...
Frankly though, I like this way better.

just glad we got confirmation as to how to get the password. I saw some on the ITE putting the password but no one was saying how they got it
couple of things.
Note the header "-" is similar to the one at persephone.thehansofoundation.org "--"
also if you goto blank.rachelblake.com you get the Hanso down for maintenance page. I tried persephone.rachelblake and a couple of hole#.rachelblake. Thats kinda wierd.

Something strange on Rachel's site, when you go there it says My European Vacation, when you highlight around European, copy it into word and black it, it says My European Holiday. Why the difference?

Hacket Films - it is on Ifilms website, never confirmed to be real...mostly thought of as a hoax...or fanbased film...

pyscouno: I agree with you that the pic on persephone's site is very similar to the asian woman opening THF site. Definitely the eyes look Asian.
I think TBTB have found quite a clever way to cover over the early release of the RB video. Guess we'll be bombarded with more advertisers.
Richfromabove - Thanks, I am not sure the Hackett film is real yet, it was found a little bit ago and we could not figure out it's meaning or place at the time, it could be real and in game, still to be determined...

So it seems that all of the holes into THF.org are now closed. Even on a brand new PC. Oh well. At least we now have all this instead. I am gonna miss that THF page. (sniffle)

yeah, i thought it might have something more closely related to do with "HACK IT", rather than "HACKETT", too. but where would it come into play.

I think it is to try and a a bit of realism and interaction to the game. Quite planned I am sure for the two to have been talking live.
Since the video has just now been up for me to view it I think that it is the woman from the intro to the THF website...telling you how everything works...and it is creepy....
I wonder if this Rachel Blake clue was MEANT to go live at the same time as savejoop.com reached 10000. WAY too much of a coincidence if you ask me for it not to be. Could be wrong.
And just so you know. The sound that comes up on joop.com here freaks me out much more that tne sound on persephones site. (I just crapped it when it came on just now even though I have heard it countless times)

Belly: Totally agree that Rachel/MelODrama was scripted. When you see it by itself it flows along. They don't acknowledge anyone else. Whoever was entering their comments must have been posting parts of the script every so often between the rest of our comments.
wizardary: When I first saw the P video, the Hanso "greeter" came to mind. Definitely she looks Asian.

I use a free program that comes with creative soundcards called wave studio. It can record what you hear in the background. Then you can manipulate it. I am sure the much more professional soundforge can do it but there will no doubt be a mass of free recorder available on the net if you search google. (I dont know this but I assume so. I just quickly grabbed one called "pocket voice recorder" though it doesnt do a good job so I would look for another.

Has anybody got a link to the swf file for the last clue on THF. None of the ones linking to the hanso site work now. Did anybody save it locally then publish it then link it?

I am guessing that these will be available elsewhere through people who have save the flash and republished. If not then we are screwed for going over some of this older stuff.
Argh! I just helped someone get into the game, and now the Hanso site is completely shutdown (hmmm, was that supposed to be the case for when we see Rachel showing us her computer?) and the old clues won't work!
Also, with the Persephone site, the title is --, morse code for 'm'. You could make something from that (eg, m in conjunction with the - from the standard title display (before the Browser name) gives you m and t... empty. "Noone is home" indeed). Could also be nothing. But has Persephone simply moved house?
And if Monster are completely in the dog house, why is HansoCareers still up?
I guess this also means there will need to be links posted in the main blog here or in the research blog.
