Rachel's posted her second video. Sort of...You've got to find it...then watch it...then discuss. Her post leads you to Retrievers of Truth ("porter" password to Message Boards) which connects you to Broadband Stories. Click on the "Ultimate Journey" one. Second Row, Third Column.
Her posts seem to be organic (kinda like the ones on this blog) so check HER BLOG often. She has an interesting cell phone pic from inside the shipping archives and has welcomed the Black Rock into the Experience with the implication that the Hanso foundation was "built on the backs of slaves."

And I agree for the moment that the ONLY thing that seems to come from ROT is the another 48hrs. It was kinda cryptic and everything else seemed perfectly ordinary. Something will probably happen before then somewhere though. Or maybe we will get a 2 day rest. I need it.

Hm. Anyone else think that it would be fun to be posting on a forum/blog taht's laid out like Retriever's of truth? Like posting in role-play as if we were inside teh game, and the Hanso Federation was real. Like we live in a world where an evil corporation is trying to take over the world, or a world where the plane crash did happen for real.
I think it'd be fun. And even more so for the people who stumble upon us not knowing who we are.

I'm not sure I'm following correctly, so ignore this if it doesn't make sense, but ... Rachel agrees to let "Mel" host her video on a corporate mainframe, password protected, in exchange for her directing her "viewers" to his portal to view secret documents. So, did Mel hold up his end of that deal? There certainly isn't any password protection. Or are we supposed to assume that the ROT gang found the video on Mel's site and posted it for us at Verizon? That seems like a stretch. I don't really get it. I guess we'll have to wait to see if RB gives us a link to Mel's secret vault.

So someone posted that book excerpt that matt posted about magnus hanso in the comments of rachels blog. My guess is that it is in game. Someone found it somehow properly. We do not know how yet but we will in time. This happens quite a lot. And the person who posted it was just someone who had come across this info from somewhere. It is the sort of thing you would want to email/post to rachel as it would seem pertinent to the current rachel findings.
I am saying this because if it is fake kit is a hell of a job. And so WHAT IS THE BOOK and where can I get a copy.
wizardry, I guess it's very possible that we may have a "slip" like we did with Rachel's first video.
But, remember that everything in TLE is essentially a "fake"...but just a "fake" backed by alot of money. So it should be just as easy for ABC to make that page as any old person with photoshopping skills. I doubt ABC just found that in a book somwhere.
Ack, nevermind. I guess Rachel confirmed it.
I'm still holding true to my "everything in TLE is essentially an in-game fake" thing, though.

There have been a few references to that "sub-zero/goauld" video" and what was said. I cant find where it came from but it is being hosted (or something like that) on the same place as the other jeep video which suggests in game. Bet REALLY. How was it found legitimately so to speak.
I am interested. And looking at the different transcripts I have found some believe it to say major 48 (and some others maybe, I cannot remember). Do you have a link as i cant be bothered looking right now.

ALRIGHT, we've seen a couple suggestions of the computer screen being equations for a password...if as some people cosider LN to be "Linear" as in a linear equation than IN probably isn't just "in" but "integral" as in a integral equation...these could lead to T charts which could again lead us to a location on a map or something where something is being shipped...
YEAH YEAH I KNOW...kinda far out there, but I wouldn't put it past em' and if we are going to consider something we might as well go all out!

well there have been like 5 things cross referenced before 1900 and of course pertaining to LOST time after 2000, like Black Rock (which we just learned today) Magnus Hanso (same) and these shipping companies...so thats certainly an idea

I totally agree...obviously none of these things would, while literally thousands of other things probably would be...I wasn't stuck on the fact it had to be something realistic...I'm just looking at the basic reoccuring themes of the day...
what are people's thoughts on the freewebs page Rachel linked to? My computer doesn't seem to like the site, so I only visited once, but no mention of the Black Rock (though I didn't check sourcecode, doh! usually the first thing I do), a couple of Bermuda Triangles, crew negligence... are these significant? Anything else?
The only item mentioned throughout the day that would span before 1900 till almost present time is indeed the shipping company that was sold and repurchased and renamed...since Magnus is dead (I am lead to believe :)) and Black Rock is missing to most of the world.

there is a supposed picture of the black rock on that sight and it says no shipping company claimed it when it turned up missing after leaving britain (where it was supposed to return to)...and for some reason right off the bat it sailed east when it was supposed to sale west...
There is also a mysterious black smoke or something in the sky next to the boat...could it be??? Probably not in the 1800's.
But if any of this is true, then one thing is for sure...French Chick is a huge liar, because supposedly she got shipwrecked 16 years ago, not over 100....

This might not be the right place to post this, but I was just on the webpage persephone.thehansofoundation.org, and had to get up to go get my 3 month old daughter out of her crib. When I came back, there was this woman's voice in the background behind all the radio static/notes, and it sounded like she was either (1) saying...murderers, murderers, help, help, or (2) she was speaking a foreign language. I also thought I heard the phrase "msn" in there. Maybe Microsoft is hopping on board the TLE game?
I guess I had been on the site maybe 3 or 4 minutes before I heard it. It repeats over and over about every 90 seconds. BTW...very scary persephone site, huh?

So, we have some nice little history of the Black Rock. Sailing east, curious indeed. That puts it in the general vicinity of the Pacific Ocean :D Guess that blows the vile vortices theory for it.
melissa, there was an older thread on the ROT messageboard that directed us to broadbandstories, I guess once we were pointed to one Verizon site people started looking at all of them

I suspect just real fun though. Snippets at what are to become. If the real guys have these screen names really are the real deal (seems to have been nearly proven to me) then their screen names are fixed to them so it is a lot better that what is going on at the rachel blake comments. Just read back a few comments jacobs. Jennk and matt and thetruthtempest and others havve been speaking to the people from the ROT forum in AIM (aol instant messenger). How cool is that. I use AOL at work so I am checking it out tomorrow.
And Lavenda and others have been following up the page from a book about Magnar hanso and his dealings with slavery and "Black Rock". Also as Matt the pale pointed out magnus hanso is referenced on the blast door map here along with another two clues making it the third reference. What does that mean.
