In the TRASH folder, there are 2 new things, a familiar image and a link to the Jeep Compass page at Jeep.com.
At the Jeep page, click on Interior on the sidebar on the left. Click on "In Back" and then locate and click on "Removable Flashlight. Click on "View Demo" in the animated image and you will be taken to Rachel's newest video!
Plus, on the main page at Letyourcompassguideyou.com, if you click at about 216°, you will see the log on prompt for the Admin folder. Through deduction it was determined that the username is WTK (William T. Kilpatrick, who had a conversation with Rachel), and the password is "themouthpiece", which was found on the "Around the Clock" image. This will take you to a "MyDocs" folder that contains a link to this WTK video.
AND THEN: As if this wasn't enough, there is new chatter on the RoT board. Head on over and log in (with porter) to the message board. Looks like we have yet another mystery to solve! This pretty much sums it up:

Garthazoid (sp) your shoutout! So, I head to this little blog by this beautiful girl, say, lower- middle twenties? Has that scrubbed movie-version of the girl next door look. All smiles and eyelashes. And the site talks about how she’s on a post-college euro-tour. So I’m thinking, “Ok, this chick is a little slice of heaven, but really, why does Garthazoid think I have to check this out?” I mean, Garthazoid you know what’s going down. We’re talking crop circles, we’re talking Loch Ness, and if I could, just for a second, just to put this whole business to rest for you Nessie-heads, it’s a sound stage you morons – the same place where they faked the Mars landing. Anyway. Point is – Rachel’s blog is pleasant, but I don’t have the time to be finding out which Geronimo Jackson song Little Susie Cornbelt is listening to when she’s missing her Mommy. But then I enter this code Garthazoid sends me, and the bells and whistles go off. And Jesus, Mary and Joseph Stalin! We got ourselves a hugh nother honkin ball of wax! It’s a video blog. Turns out Rachel is stalking this corporate dude, and the more I watch, the more I realize that everything is connected. Because the dud is none other than Dr. Thomas Werner Mittlewerk. Evil name, I know, and it fits, cause if you don’t know, Dr, Mittlewerk , he is a perpetrator of atrocities in the name of good. Dr. Mittlewerk is president of none other than, the HANSO FOUNDATION, aka Evil, Inc., aka Secrets International aka we do bad things in the name of wickedness and greed and sell them to the world as “we’re saving the planet through our science one adorable child at a time.” Cue the rainbow and fuzzy puppies. So I’m on the site and you’ve got to go – the footage out there is just nuts. And then I start to think – is Rachel our girl? Is this the infamous Persephone? Hacker of the Hanso Foundation website? Could be. And then I start thinking, “What is she doing? Is she like us? Is she looking for Alvar Hanso who’s been strangely missing from the world for the past 4 years? Is she really after Mittlewerk? Is she gonna take ‘em all down? Is she gonna take ‘em all down to Chinatown? I mean, who knows? And then I get worried. Hmmmmm. No big reveal in there that I see. If you believe Dan is Hanso-backed, then they are officially onto Rachel. If you belive otherwise, then this podcast doesn't say much at all.

DJ Dan did talk a lot about Hanso getting to Rachel...I'm wondering if something has happened to her...sure is taking a long time for her to update her blog. Thought it would have been updated by now since the weekend was silent.
Here's something weird...DJ Dan said he visited rachelblake.com and describes her physical appearance, before he goes to the stophanso site. Which is odd since Rachel didn't post a picture of herself on her European vacation website.
But she could be doing some work, she is how many hours ahead of us? It is only 8:15 pm there, converting from EST...
And that Hanso goon from the video of Rachel's had a strange looking hand...anyone else see it...

I find DJ Dan to be very odd in general. He has never posted any information about the hanso site himeself, never showed us any proof he has. Nor has P or Rachel spoken about him at all, which means you don't know if they support each other. I also found his bio to be interesting. The three locations they have in his bio as the "hometown" of DJ Dan make a nice triangle in the southern US.

The hex codes (if tht is what they are) I think are nothing. Someone pointed out that the podcasts that this blog does also have hex codes so it is probably entered by the program creating the mp3. I am still taking note but am sure it is nothing.

The audio would not be in the source. It is embedded in the flash that is creating the image at the top of savejoop.com. I have nalysed it in an audio program (not heavily - I wouldnt really know what I was doing) but I reversed it and slowed it but couldnt make anything out.

Definitely a weird audio on savejoop.com that hasn't been there before. I know this site is a fansite, but maybe it has become ingame? The audio sounds like it's backwards/needs to be reversed. I don't know how to do that.

The audio on savejoop.com has been there for at least 3 weeks now. It happens as the "Don't believe the lies!" message flashes in the banner at the top of the page. Most ppl are reading through the list of names by the time it happens and they miss the message.

Some cameras come with an autofocus feature that automatically focuses on the prominent feature within the viewfinder, so maybe that's what the video camera is doing...trying to keep focused on her.

the admin folder says that file/link has been there since last week. Probably (being lazy and not checking for once) when we were first directed to the admin folder. Then again, maybe he just had things set up for where he was going to host the next vid, whenever it came in.
I think the Hackett memo was there as WTK's proof to Rach that he was a good guy. But these two have obviously had dealings off the blog... how did they initially get in contact with no email addresses from profile (melO didn't even have a profile). that image near the WTK on LYCGY might have also been a "I'm on your side P" type thing... she doesn't seem to have responded to his last message on the chat log. Still haven't been able to find anything other than that one site with the full pic on it. Even looking for something not labled as "Persephone" (after all, the Rosetti painting is "Proserpine/a")

A far fetched thought I had earlier was "what if rachel is peter thompsons wife". A woman scorned and all. You can rubbish the idea all you want. I had reasons for thinking it possibly but I myself seriously doubt it. I threw it out there in case someone actually had reason to agree with the thought.

Has anyone noticed that in Rachel's video there are 2 points where the audio and video don't seem to match up? The first occurs when she's talking about "the GWC being on the up and up" and the second occurs when she states she doesn't "know where to jump to next." Is it simply that the audio and video tracks are out of synch or is it the the video has been tampered with???
it certainly seems like all of the videos are edited and do stuff like that...
that makes me think they're all 'post production' (see my comments above @ about 4:00).
Interesting. Again Rachel shows what she lacks in secret agent skills she makes up for in passion.
Weren't we meant to be throwing a bannana peel (why peel and not skin?) at that goon? I couldn't see the "fire bannana peel" button on the video player. *shrug* Anyway, odd DjDan talks about goons chasin Rachel and a short time later we see Goons chasing Rachel. But I don't know about this theory saying Dan is with Hanso. His information has never been earth shattering so if he is a counter agent there to mislead us he's the worlds worst at his job. He's been harmless so far and his role is subtle. Most of what he sprouts off isn't directly relevent and while a few people may waste time looking up info on the features of mars, Orson Welles biography and searching for the flower of life foundation, it hasn't stopped us doing our main job as guided by Persephone and Rachel. So no, I don't believe he's misleading us.
I have a theory now though. If we assume for a moment that Persephone isn't Rachel but they know each other. Perhaps DjDans podcast is a way for Persephone and Rachel to communicate information to each other in a cryptic way. Perhaps Rachel was prepared for the goon? I mean it's quite a coincidence that he was caught just when she was doing her podcast (okay I know it wouldn't be as interesting for us if it hadn't worked out like that).
Another theory - maybe DJDan is joop?

Now WTK suspected DJDan of something (we assume) but then after investigating decided he was clear of blame. Of course maybe they are both Hansites. Anyway, the podcast was pretty bland today, and that makes me very suspicious of something. Why Bannana Peel?
I wonder why Rachel hasn't seem to have noticed the definite identification of Mittlewerks islands. Maybe Gidgetgirl will post and draw her attention to it. Anyone want to take bets on how long before she posts?

It still sounds like she's being watched and the surveillence equipment is interfering with her video. AS if they need to switch audio filters when she turns her video camera on? But that's just a theory I'm working on!

My only guess is that it says "CINCINATTI, He's Going" But you can listen to it yourself and make a better guess!

I've just cleaned up that odd voice at the start of the latest video and put it up. See what you think it is. There is definetly a trend of semi-concealed voices in Rachels videos. How is putting them there and why is the question.
If Rachel is putting them there and then following on my earlier theory (and assume P doesn't equal R) it could be Persephone is communicating to Rachel via DjDan and Rachel is communicating back via hidden audio in her videoblogs. Okay that may be nothing, but I'm certain there is something to this audio.
anyway check here for the audio snippet from that video. All I've done is take the bleeping out a bit and gradually sped it up slightly (because it sounded like a record winding down to me). The end is distorted and there isn't anything I know of to do about that, but then it sounds like the same phrase was just being repeated twice so the end bit shouldn't be relevant.

Lena: The billboard used to have "If you lived here, you'd be home by now" with an arrow pointing down, as well as a very faded phone number. IIRC, the phone number was called by multiple people and was determined to be an innocent bystander who ended up getting a bunch of unwanted calls.

The soundtrack I found for "Cabaret" lists Wilkommen as the first song. That translates to Welcome.
Do you think WTK (this is the guy in the dj dan apology video we are assuming, correct?) started the fire? If he is working from the inside, maybe this was his version of a banana peel to throw them off Rachels' trail.
The first word on the opening page for richerdeeperbroader.com is Welcome...perhaps we should start there. Each word will lead us to another word/clue, which will come daily. We may have to list all of the words and see what they'll say.
The word "fire" sometimes can mean other things. I originally though not a literal fire with flames, etc., but fire in the sense that there's trouble at the Institute, like someone's found out something. Maybe the letter from Dr. Zander at the Vik complaining about what is going on in his facility is something Mr. Fixit needs to take care of. Like silencing Dr. Zander.

Is there a way to search the code on the RBD site & linked sites to find the first word of the first song in Caberet? Thinking out loud about what I've read so far... Willkommen is probably the hint for what to look for so Welcome is the word we're looking for? I spent the last 30 minutes looking for "Welcome" right under my nose at the RBD site(s) and nothing. Any more theories I can run with? :)

I Posted this on RB's blog but I will post it here again - I think the lake in Canada thing is a red herring... Have you ever thought that just because they used a picture of an Island in canada does not mean that the island "IN GAME" is the island in canada - maybe it is a fictitious island in a fictitious game - just like the one our "LOST" friends are on... hey, Bingo - we know that mittlewerk was reseaching Magnus hanso - we know that he is on the island along with the black rock - we also know that there is a radio antenna on the island near the black rock - simmilar to the one near korea that a recent clue was discussing - maybe mittlewerk is going to THE ISLAND for some reason... the location adds up at least!!!
Do you think this "hints to a clue that will lead you to a clue" is something that will ultimately advance the game or something to help keep us "busy" between Rachel clues?

I always felt it was odd that a "blank" billboard was there as well as a black white screeen in another section of the site. The faint lettering is very enticing, but, as of now, it went nowhere.

purplejodes (nice name btw ;-) ), I'm in Newcastle, where are you? It's been cool, cold frosty mornings in my neck of the woods. But a very sunny winter really. Rained a night a few times, the odd day of rain. Doesn't seem like winter though. Give me a Melbourne winter, rain and cold and all :-D

And the Live Verizon Music page doesn't seem to have anything whatsoever on it.
So I jusmped over to Movies.
VerizonBroadbandFilms has a short film on it called "The Grey Woman".
Which features, what else, but a band of street performers.
Cabaret is a floor show of live entertainment, specificially at night clubs.
The band playing in The Grey Woman has a spotlight on them, as if they were on stage.
So far, this is my best lead. Or, at the very least, a really nice short film.
They do the monochromatic-to-color tricks like that movie Pleasantville.
