I (David) just realized something really stupid that I did a long time ago. When I started this blog, I used what I believed to be the "official" TLE logo as a part of our banner and our podcast graphic. I was ignorant of the fact that TLE.com was a fan site and didn't even think about asking permission for or giving credit for the art. I just came to my senses and did some research. I wanted to finally give credit to "DocArzt" and thelostexperience.com for the artwork. I also wanted to let everyone know that they are graciously allowing us to continue using it on our site. Actually, Lena (or is it Rx? or both?) Beth is not REALLY REALLY REALLY into the game she would have known that Kate is a fictional character based on information the writers gained somehow about the Dharma Initiative...
The better way to do it was to 1) not put up a pic of Evangeline Lilly up. Instead she should have put up another persons picture and not called her Kate Austen either... a different name. 2) Then she should have said that the show is based on the crash that her friend died on and that she thinks Kate's character is based on her friend.
THAT would have been more interesting and kept the charade going for a little while at least.

Can someone help me out here? English is my second language, never quite the same as your mother tongue. The phrase "lob unfounded claims from the darkness" struck me as unusual. Doesn't one lob a claim at someone? Can someone tell me what 'to lob' is supposed to mean in this context?
Also, I checked the OED and lob used as a noun also means (amongst a rake of other things) spider(sic!)
Another thing that struck me as strange: Mittelwerk says: "which is why we invite you to talk about us" not "talk to us". Subtly different. Doesn't sound to me as if we was sending a "let's talk" message to Rachel as some have speculated.

I've been reading the discussion re who GG is. A lot of good thoughts. The possibilities are boundless. I'm in the camp that she's Hugh McIntyre's mistress. Now, remember Persephone gave us some documents and video that he was fooling around in Paris and London back in March, and Rachel gave us the pics of the GWC woman that GG demanded be taken down. Now, I just took a look at the pics of these two "affairs" and they look like different woman to me. The Paris/London babe is much younger and her hair is darker. Could GG be the first woman with HMc in March 2006? She could have been upset that Rachel posted pics of the GWC woman because she was jealous of the "new woman" in his life. Now, all this is moot if TPTB just got a different actress for the most recent pics, and we have another continuity error.
