Clue #105 - Fragment Code "A0Y8"

Fragment Code "A0Y8" was found today in NYC's Times Square on the ABC bigscreen. Click HERE for a YouTube video of what was displayed. It was our very own marcus_isn't_lost ;-) who saw the glyph LIVE and emailed in to us and then went back to capture it. Head over to hansoexposed.com and enter the new code. The video fragment is of Mr. Beardy saying "...founders and masterminds of the Dharma Iniative. By now, you also know there are many research goals for our joint venture."

*Check out Matt the Pale's summary of all the found fragment codes at...Matt the Pale's HansoExposed Video Fragment Code List

Thank you to Marcus for seeing the glyph and contacting us, tapdawg for the transcript and Chris, Marcus, and Dedjezter for roaming around in Times Square all day...Awesome team effort today by everyone in our comments and those live in Times Square!

If you are still around and reading this I am sorry I never found you, or you me. After reading through the last thread, and reading that you were on the island in a folding beach chair, I realize that I actually did walk right passed you three or four times. I guess it's easy to stand out in a crowd of like ten thousand people a minute... lol ...I really just walked around all day out of a sheer lack of anything better to do...

Well I guess I will see you on the 6th then. At least for the Apollo give away there is a set time. 12 - 6 baby, and I will wear the same shirt again for that event.

I wouldn't say the Alvar Hanso thing was a big reveal seeing as I believe most people suspect he would be Alvar Hanso from the very first video fragment that had him in. Like most of the video clips each "reveal" is so strongly hinted at beforehand that it ceases to be very big when it is revealed. That's the trouble with these fragments. Unless they are holding back some of the longer fragments till the end I don't think there will be any real big reveal moments. Not that in total the video won't reveal big stuff, it's just going to be given to us in such small parts that it just won't seem that big at the time.

Anyway, I agree, we should at least be calling him "Alvar" or "Alvar Hanso" by now (with the speech marks for the sake of the doubters). I don't think he is any more likely to turn out to not be Alvar then Rachel will turn out to not be Persephone or DJ Dan to be Pete Thomspon (but of course he is Pete Thompson...I'm just saying is all, lol). I suppose there may be a fragment which is just him going "not" and there is a tiny remote minute chance that for some reason they've gotten someone to pretend to be Alvar and put him on the Dharma video, but frankly it's not very likely. The story isn't that complex at the end of the day and I wouldn't expect any "man behind the screen" plot twists.

Hi guys. Long time reader, first time poster here.

Just a theory, but isn't there a train to Slough from Paddington that might pass through most of the towns mentioned in a previous post(s)?? And there's a mention of time of departure. Whether it's a hoax or not, I wouldn't be surprised if the platform in Paddington departuring from Slough has a glyph, or the hoaxer laughing at the amount of people turning up looking for a glyph. Think Paddington in London is more likely than Slough anyway, as it's a major city.

Lol. I know there is a Reading in England. Sorry, I would have said earlier (kinda pressumed people knew actually, then again I didn't know there was one in the US). They have a team in the Premiership (soccer) and all. It's about an hour on the train from me, but I don't believe there will be anything there. Well aside from the usual drug addicts and used car salesmen.

Are people really taking this R Blake seriously? I mean it's not exactly covert using that name and Rachel has a proper blogger account with about a gazillion profile views and totally not that one.

I'm not yet so bored that I will take an hour long train journey out to somewhere I know there won't be a clue just to proove myself right. Lol.

I'm not taking it seriously as in it will lead to a glyph, but it takes up some time thinking about what the poster means.

I wandered if there was maybe referring to the glyph as the mark of the pharaons as it's based on the hieroglyphics, and I don't know what the amante is, but the it will strike you bit makes me think of a clock. I think the clues lead to the big clock in Paddington station which is probably near the platform for the train to Slough.

Just a theory, as I've only been in Paddington station twice!

Here is his email:
"Thought i'd let you know that over at my blog I have a post up for people that want to RSVP for apollo candy distribution that way they know who is
going and maybe they can meet up for it. I found it really hard to meet up with anyone at comic con because we didn't really know who was coming to
what. Anywho if you want to tell the masses about it be my guest. Once again, my blog is at www.lostoverlost.blogspot.com - Tapdawg"

Have fun with the RBlake person. Just wanted to acknowledge that I know nothing about who it is or what they're doing and my first impression screams HOAX. Hope they don't get too carried away. :)

Speaker's latest post:

Top Tens
Okay - a lot of you wanted to see profiles on top commenters and participators in taking down Hanso. I liked the idea, but was afraid of jealousy issues.

Well, I think I found a solution for it. It's not PERFECT, but I think it'll do. I'll let YOU pick the commenters I profile.

Here's what you do. In the comments, list the TOP TEN commenters you would like to see profiled. Put "****TOP TEN****" at the top of your list so I can easily find your picks amongst all the chatting. If you can't think of 10, just list however many you can think of.

I will then look at the amount of submissions, cry, shuffle about, cry some more, take another look at the submissions, sigh a lot, and then finally figure out a list of people to profile.

Got it? Good.

This entry was originally going to be a Weekly Round-Up, but I thought I'd give glyph 29 one more day to show up.

Until next time.
