Fragment Code "0UJ2" was found on Channel 4 UK. Scroll down through the videos to "Burn a hole through the heart of the foundation" to reveal this GLYPH. The video fragment is of Mittlewerk saying, "...and they believe we are bringing them the cure."

Speak of the Devil - just got a call from Christie at Tysons Corner - The Apollo event at Tysons will be on Level 2 across from the GAP (near the ch 7 Blood Drive. BUt I forgot to ask the time - called back and left a message. The Blood Drive is from 11-4.

I thought that too about the backgrounds, but there is one clip in which he is in front of both backgrounds, with no logical transition between the two. Look closely at 7hkbh--at first he is near the window; then the zoom in shows his face in front of the wall/framed picture that he walks over to in vix7zxt97... I really don't know that we can trust the backgrounds to give us definite proof of what order the clips go in.
Okay DC Folks- Talked to Christie one last time (lady probably thinks I'm crazy), but Apollo is supposed to be there in connection with CH 7 and the BLood Drive. And since she wasn't given a time she is going with the 11-4 of the blood drive.

I think it's clear from "theflashlight" that TWM is not just a mad scientist run amok... His sigh at the end conveys the frustration that he feels knowing that there will inevitably be casualties in their fight to save the world. Definitely an "ends justify the means" situation, but not one he's entered into blind of the consequences, it's just that he's learned to accept them.
....and now for something completely different........
SG-1 has been cancelled by the Sci-Fi channel. This, the 10th Season, will likely be the last unless the creators can find another station to pick it up.
I am going to miss it. There were only three shows on t.v. that I watched regularly, LOST, 24 and SG-1. Guess I will now only have 2. REally sucks since SG-1' season starts early so gave me something to watch while waiting for LOST and 24.

He sure does N.I.K! I've also been thinking about his "mathematical certainty" ... in the scientific history of our world, theories and formulae that were thought to be on the mark have often been proven wrong as time goes by when further evidence is revealed with better equipment and knowledge. It would be pretty interesting if it turns out that the V.E. is discovered to be totally wrong and either TWM kills tons of people for no good reason after all, or that he goes ahead and does it anyway because the ball is rolling and can't be stopped. Or, that he can't face being wrong in his V.E theory and still tries to continue the project to completion because it will create a better world anyway (in his mind). I guess that I just completely agreed with Mr. Pale's theory after all. :-)

Re the giveaways. I think the fact that only a small percentage of those playing the game will be able to attend the give aways just emphasizes the importance of teamwork. Make sure ya'll all have your digital cameras ready when you get your bars so you can upload pictures of what ya'll find asap

The Eureka series is looking good so far. Hope they don't jump-the-shark too soon. The 4400 is alright, but I fear that they J.T.S'd when they made the baby grow up overnight and become a woman who could do anything and couldn't die. Puh. I think that the Stargate channel, er...the Sci-Fi channel, will probably re-run the two Stargates forever. The Third Wave was interesting, I liked that one too. But Lost rules them all!
n.i.k.: you mentioned alvar's conscience earlier. he gave up selling munitions to take on more noble causes. at least that's what the stories say. but who is that information coming from? thf? persephone, an employee of thf long after alvar started it? how do we know alvar's intentions when he started his foundation? what if there never was a rift? twm could do alvar's bidding while hanso goes into hiding. i don't know why he would want that, but keep things like this in mind when in theoryland. the history of alvar and thf could be wholly manufactured. history is easy to rewrite if you are the publisher!
at the giveaways, it would be cool to have a password like they have in the uk. its cool, and it prevnts non-players from wasting the bars.
re: whereisalvar going live. we have to consider that act iv could kick off while act iii is still coming to fruition. not making this entirely serial would spice things up a bit i think.

Eureaka is about this town full of genius scientist. They make all kinds of cool and freaky things that have a tendency to go out of control. The sheriff is the "every man" a US. marshall that literally came upon the town by accident. Good characters and itnerplay between the every man sheriff and the mad...err. genious scientist. :)
there is something in section 5 that is a mystery to be figured out in the show, don't think anyone really knows what it is yet but it will be a character of its own so to speak in the show.

I've called the promotions director at KSTP and left a number. Hopefully she'll call back with the info on the Apollo give away. I'll be there all day with my digital camera, until I get one and then I'll run home with the info and post here as soon as possible. It's my only quest tomorrow, to get that durn bar.
