Clue #118 - Fragment Code "ING93A11RO86"

Fragment code "ING93A11RO86" has been found. Here is how Kevin found it. First he went to the Singapore Lost Site then he clicked Goodies and in the links to the right is the Lost Experience Starts NOW! link which lead him to the glyph. Nice Glyph Hunting Kevin!

Enter the code at HansoExposed to see the newest fragment. This fragment is of Mr. Beardy saying "we've constructed several stations on the island."

Thanks to Kevin for emailing us with this!

I think we will reach the 100% with 4000 bars (3964 to be correct)
We had 1% with 4 bars, 2% with 44 bars, makes a difference of 1% per 40 bars => 4000 bars
And they round-up if it reaches a tenth of a percent: 4 bars=0.1%=>1%, 44 bars=1.1%=>2%
So 100% will be shown with 99.1%=3964 bars
8/24/2006 12:34:42 PM

I believe this is correct. Anyone want to take a stab at the fraction of those 4000 which have a golden oracle?

OK, let's see if this works!

I set up a blog where people with Apollo Bars they're willing to part with and people looking to get their hands on one but can't make it to an event can trade (and many more people can join in the fun of WIA.com w/o having to photoshop a picture of the bar). If you fit either of those categories, or are just curious, go check it out!

I don't know if anyone cares, but does anyone remember Stephen Colbert asking "the heroes" to vote his name for the the Hungarian bridge-naming contest?

Well, I just got interested in the results from that contest, and here are the results as of today:

1)Stephen Colbert híd - 17231725 [53%]

2)Zrínyi híd - 2062649 [6%]

3)Pató Pál híd - 1805118 [6%]

...also worthy of mentioning...

Jon Stewart híd - 61134 [0%]

Colbert nailed Zrínyi, the 16th century Hungarian king!

Unfortunately, a committee will review the top 3 names and decide the winner. So, now we, the heroes, must infiltrate this committee and persuade them.

What is the one thing Hungarians need the most?

I am just wondering how many golden oracles have to be posted before RB gives us the info. I mean it appears her decision to release whatever this information is is based on something completely arbitrary.
Why does she need to wait? The longer she waits the more opportunity THF has to find her and keep her from releasing the info.
What is this info.?

Noble: I was thinking the same thing. I mean, why would Rachel use Hanso bars to get out information? Why would Hanso owned bars have whereisalvar.com molded into them? How did she get Apollo to switch sides? Or did she? Is the wia website rachel's at all or something done by Hanso? If the chocolate is 'tainted' then why would Rachel have her army of people find the bars and then eat them. It is all so very strange.

On the question of how many bars/oracles must be found -- it seems to me from the rules and the patterns that anyone can post any kind of doctored photo on the site. The only thing that matters for triggering the next revelation is the number of ORACLE photos posted. These are confirmed by TPTB because they bear unique codes. If this is true, the "number of bars" is really irrelevant and just to keep us busy.

Also, the oracle appears to be a stamp that is added to the wrapper, not pre-printed. That makes it harder to lose to "non-players", but also less random and therefore less "fair".

Comments?

It says on their website:

Doors at 7pm

CD World Sez: See the season premier before it aires!

Has a link to buy tickets, but it says no performances when you click it. I certainly hope they're not thinking of charging for that!

Nice of apollo candies to friggin warn us, they are giving gift bags, so i'm assuming the candy bar will be in the bag.

Asked if he thought if we would be able to get in on the giveaway even if we didn't all win. Hopefully, someone will get back to me. Keep checking the wfaa lost experience blog though since details will be posted there supposedly. I posted there as well.

I never heard back from the Minneapolis tv station marketing rep. My wife checked in at their site at the fair at 9:30 a.m. and they said they might have the bars at noon. So she came back at noon and was told they were handed out at 11:00 a.m. and they might have some more at 4:00 p.m.

At least Olerica got some. It would be nice if they told TLE followers the distribution details instead of handing the bars out to people without a clue.

I've already posted this today, but nobody replied so I'll post it again...

I've noticed something that is maybe related to the glyph #42.

There were three different Flickr photo albums introduced in the ARG: Mandrake's, Trevtrevtrever's and Rachel's album.

The URL's are:

flickr.com/photos/mandrakewig
flickr.com/photos/trevtrevtrevor
flickr.com/photos/38184554@N00

It seems odd to me that Rachel's Flickr album doesn't have lehcarekalb in the url.

What do you think?

I'm sorry if this was already discussed, I'm new here.

I live in Croatia, so there's no apollo bars for me... :(

Having looked at the Lostpedia sequence, I'd say the order given for the Alvar Hanso section is probably the final, definitive one - there are still some clips missing, but the overall order is clearly correct. * Having the latest technology as soon as it comes out is very important to me. Yes
* I prefer to spend most of my time at home. No
* Friends look to me for the latest trends, styles & recommendations. Yes

tapdawg: Did you look at Melissa's blog too about puzzle #3? I'm wondering how the code on the back compares with that code you uncovered on yours. Did both #2 and #1 have a weird code or just one of them?

melissa: Have a great vacation!

Hey all,

I'm mostly a lurker around these parts, but I'm avidly following along.

I found a band today called "Persephone's Bees" (not in-game) and they're really fun and good! They're at persephonesbees.com.

Enjoy!

Um... what are you talking about codes and puzzles and pics in emails... Is this related to the LL cool j v8 pics or is this something new?

Ambient-

Since this is our ONLY contact with some people on this blog, I'll tell you I won't be there alone either... will be with people from ITE, Fuselage, Lost-TV, etc.

I'll hold off on any of my sneaky disguises (one possible attempt at scoring multiple bars) until later

So looking quite like my pic (should even have the sunglasses on my collar), but in jeans and a darker charcoal gray colored short sleeve so as to keep on the DL from the Hanso or ABC watchful eye.
