Clue #123 - Fragment Code "5XW3O" & RoT Chatter

Fragment Code "5XW3O" was found here and looks like this. Still trying to track the whole story of how it was found. The video fragment is (in our opinion) the most interesting thing to happen in a long time...We'll let you discover it for yourself!

There's new chatter over at the Retreivers of Truth site. Log in using "Steinbeck" to view the newest conversation. Apparently they've gotten their hands on some chocolate of their own. Let us know if you discover anything else.

Looking at the hansoexposed.com statistics, we see that there is still another glyph that has been released but hasn't been found by anyone yet. Let the hunting commence!

Thanks to goingdark!, bigdog7879, Donn, The Lost Bird, NobleLawyer, and griffin-x, for giving us the heads up on this!

Diggity: I think the most interesting thing is when BBB says: "Guys, all I'm at liberty to say is that the end of our Hanso tutelage is near."

And, of course, they get a delivered Apollo bar!

Wanted to get this reminder up at the beginning. Repost from last thread.

RE Apollo bars: Many of you generous souls have mentioned you have extra bars to give away but only a handful have acutally signed up with MissMegs.

She's given me the priveledge of taking the information of the people who have bars *to share*. If you previously e-mailed MissMegs with your information you do not need to e-mail me. If you haven't you can e-mail me directly at twinklestarmom@yahoo.com and send me this information:

Your name
Your "handle" (the screen name you want me to use on here)
Your location
How many bars you have/are sharing
**Whether you want your bar(s) returned to you or not**

You can see the list of people who really want to see an Apollo bar in person on MissMegs blog:

http://apollotrade.blogspot.com/

Thanks! Bless you for sharing!

I ripped it apart (flash). The below link is to the still image embedded inside the flash. It looks like a glyph to me (zoom in or maybe OUT depending on monitor size), note the series of darker small pics around the large pic perimeter like a glyph.

Has this been discussed? Is this old news?

Better get back to work....

my opinion anyway.

Asking for seasons tickets to the Jets indicates to me that they are in NY. For whatever it's worth. I was looking for NY wia.com posts...

I was wondering about that reference, too.
All I could think of was that billboard in Times Square for Verizon's Chocolate phone. I doubt that it is related. I was just staring at it for too long on that Times Square glyph day. Lol.

I get a discount on Jets tix. I would gladly pass that along to the ROT if they would give me a gylph or a golden oracle!!

We've been given "Rachel in peril" clips before (remember the long drawn out, multi-part video in Paris?) She'll be rescued or escape somehow.

The only problem with her getting away is that TWM should be very worried about her (especially if she had a camera with her) and should be activey persuing her to get that footage. Unless, he's under such time pressure with the virus thing and the need to keep to a schedule to keep his plans in motion. Maybe he thinks whatever she got on film won't matter because the ball is already in motion and he can't be stopped.

This Apollo Candy bar phase sure raises a lot of questions as to the actual making and distribution of the candy. There are a zillion holes in this part of the storyline, but, as uaual, we have to accept the facts given us and get on with it. In reality, even candy-making most likely cannot be sabotaged...there are strict standards in any food making and distribution. Making candybars, packaging them and distributing them is a costly endeavor (even Rachel's severence pay from Widmore won't cover that!).

Rachel using the candybars to somehow continue to get the word out about TWM and THF is something we just have to accept. None of this makes any sense in the real world.

Oxillini (and all),
I'm not planning on locking this TLEC blog down at all. I just probably won't continue to add new threads. Typically, once a new "clue" is added, nobody comments on old threads. I expect that once TLE is over, our interests (at least in America) will shift to Season 3. I figure it would be fun to leave this blog as a remnent of our Experiences with TLE and then start a new one (almost exactly like TLEC) for more general LOST discussion.

Here is the preliminary idea for the new blog:
1. Post a thread for each episode as they air in the US maybe with a list of possible discussion points (and post lag alleviation as necessary)
2. Post a thread for each episode as they air in the UK and as they air in AUS. That way, US viewers can go back and re-discuss episodes with international friends and fans as they air. (The only problem is that UK & AUS fans will have to wait unless they can get Season 3 on itunes or online somewhere)

It would be pretty simple just like TLEC. My guess/hope is that discussions will be all over the map and that many references will be made to boards and there will be lots of linking etc. Mostly, I hope that friendships will continue to develop through these "water cooler" discussions. I am in agreement with many of you that the community is one of the best parts of TLE and that it is really worth attempting to preserve.

Not sure about a name, URL, artwork, etc...

David: That's the way I thought it would be done. The only thing that worries me is that you know how we all are: As soon as a new post is put up, we all go there and never go back to old ones. I truly hope that when the UK/AUS people see an episode the US has seen weeks ago, that they are not the only ones posting comments.

I'm hoping that since the nature of LOST does rely on a continuing story and previous episodes relate to current ones, that the insights of new eyes and minds commenting on episodes long since seen in the US will only contribute to great discussions.

One thing I'm pretty sure I WON'T do is a Lost Podcast. There are enough of those out there. JayandJack, LostCasts, and Official Podcasts already get that job done.
