First!
Yea for more DJ Dan!
The Race is on...
top five?
what up!!
Thrasher,
Your links on the front page don't work...
Also, there is a new Reader Mail post over at ITE...but no glyph
up towards the top where I have not be for awhile
Top 20 again!
Oh, thebookpolice - your comment on the last thread about Mr. Friendly reminded me of something. My husband and I were watching The Adventure of Brisco County Jr on DVD the other day (also produced by Carlton Cuse) and one of the bad guys was played by Mr. Friendly! He looked a lot younger, and he had a handlebar mustache. :)
top-something-ish!
yeah, excitement! my ears are cramping from this stupid conference call.
Just realised - Saturday - no work - I'll try and call from home as I get free international calls
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Can you tell I'm excited?
I have to do the remixes of the last live podcast before this new one comes out!
Damn!
speaking of Lost actor sightings, I've been watching the episodes of Dead Like Me that SciFi has been airing every week, and this week's episode had "Michael" in it--he was a Yoga instructor who died by breaking his neck while demonstrating one of the positions. Then when his soul was about to leave to go to a better place, he put his hands together, bowed, and said "Namaste" before he left... how crazy is that?!?
Here is the link to the DJ Dan Announcement: http://www.djdan.am/podcast.html
Sorry for my lack of good blogger skills... I think I have it fixed now and I added more info on the podcast...I wanted you guys to check it out for yourselves first.
nitesea - that IS weird!
I saw Fenry in a Without a Trace rerun on TNT a couple of weeks ago. He was the principal at a school where one of the teachers disappeared.
GGRRR He just wants to show up DJLENA! HA! NEVER! LOL
Anybody else think it will connect to the end of WIA.com?
Right on, it's in the mrning this time...HERE'S JOHNNY!!!
hansolow - I don't know what that leads too, but the song is from one of the Whinnie the Pooh movies. Tiggers have tops made out of rubber and bottoms made out of springs.
Yeah, it was totally weird... I always go nuts when I see people from other shows I watch religiously in a different show/movie (my husband hates it...), and this episode was full of those--if you're a fan of science fiction shows, you'll recognize lots of people... Of course there was Michael, and then there were actors from the 4400, the Dead Zone, and Firefly--all in this one episode! It was quite exhausting! ;-)
Hi Guys
Have to go now - I've been on TLEC for almost 13 hourns now on and off - be back tomorrow
Namaste
JGZ350 said...
nitesea, are you joking about Michael saying 'namaste'on Dead Like Me?
No, I'm totally not. I had to rewind it and listen to it again to be sure.
Top somethingish! Whatever!
Yeah, I'll be here for this live DJ Dan Podcast!
gfd613: I hear you re this being on Rosh Hoshanah (at least it's pretty early in the morning before Temple).
Wonder what DJ Dan means: "This time it's personal."
yes hansolow, it was for an old clue. Sorry I can't remember which
I hope this time the podcast is alot more professional.
jgz350-
I'm pretty sure this Dead Like Me episode predates Lost--or at least season 2... I'll look into that.
guys, I'm outta here.
great diuscussion!
I'll be lurking tomorrow...........
yep, the episode aired in 2003...
yes, that's what I thought, benito
I thought that, maybe Michael sort of brought the phrase with him or something... or maybe the writers are really into Yoga? :-)
melissa - Wow. Briscoe County Jr. The show that premiered with higher expectations than The X-Files (many fans forget that!), which was BCJ's lead-in show.
Well, good night all - I'm outta here!
shakey - I don't necessarily disagree with you, but let's try to not dive headlong into a debate about this. People who agree, agree. People who disagree, just say something short.
Like this:
I don't think this is the forum to air complaints of this nature, and I think it's irresponsible to allege bigotry when the only hard evidence is coincidence.
So, anyways... what was the link to the last Live Podcast?
Was it just http://www.radioharvest.com/?
Here is my new Apollo bar pic. WIA is still "approving" it.
ONCE AGAIN...THANKS MARCUS!! U ROCK!
Hey and BTW, Hector (Joe) is wearing our glyph shirt, ya just cant see it.
There's plenty in this game to complain about PERIOD.
It all feels like it did when this game began. A lot of us with the show (other forums like E!Online as well) were complaining about the air dates, getting really pissy about spoilers, just plain bitchy. So much was going on that people took out their frustration on comment/message boards (and chats).
THIS TIME, season premieres are gearing up, school has begun, and more religious rather than national holidays are occuring. Add onto that the pressure of this ARG coming to an end (prematurely upset that they'll let us down)... and that's one cluster**** of pissyness.
It's understandably, but I'd agree with THEBOOKPOLICE in that this isn't exactly the forum for that debate and MORE IMPORTANTLY, those conversations need to be handled with more respect than the usual internet-flaming.
Gotta go to a meeting. (btw, I'm PSYCHED that I actually get to listen in live to this DJ DAN podcast since I missed the last one)
hey guys! i had a fabulous time meeting everyone last night. the girls handing out the apollo bars were very nice, too... ;-) even the shade guy was fun to talk to.
a special thanks to Mrs. and Mr. O. My jeep would not start after we left. it seems i left my lights on the whole time we were at snuffers and the theatre, even though it was broad daylight when i got there... still havent figure out how that happened. i'm thinking Mittelwerk had something to do with it. But the O's and some random lawyer in the parking lot helped me get it started. unfortunately it was dead again this morning and i spent half the day getting the battery replaced (after these other 2 guys who didn't speak english helped me get it started). yay, fun....lol
even so, the Dallas event was great fun, only because meeting everyone was such a special treat. i look forward to all of us getting together again.
Okay, I have to admit, I've been putting off doing the DJ Dan stuff just because of the daunting task of cutting up two hours of material.
That I've been distracted by IRC (which is a compliment to those I talk to there, because that means your interesting!), uh, making random parody websites, playing Urban Dead (free online zombie thing) and generally procrastinating.
However I am now on it. The johnny remix I will do first because it should be easy. There is a LOT of DJ Dan talking to consider for the remix. I may have to just chop it into big chunks and make minor tweaks (which is pretty much what I did with the first DJ Dan track anyway, and people loved that).
It's actually the DJ Dan one that is the biggest problem. He talked A LOT, and he said a lot of crazy/funny things. That's the problem with Javi he talks a lot and is already very funny. It's a challenge to make him funnier. Then there is the various phone ins, I mean who do I include/exclude. Obviously I have to put my own shout outs in there. Would't be right without them. Lol.
Then the hardest thing of all, picking the music. I obviously want something I can be creative with so not a straight track sample, maybe one I can modify like with the Gonk (the music I used in the first track - I added a lot to that to make it my own). It's all hard. Plus I wanted to do not one, not two but FOUR remixes from that. Although it makes sense to put the Ninja and Speaker ones off as hopefully they'll phone into the new podcast and double my content (although got loads of Speaker audio thansk to his reader mail).
Anyway enough excuses. I have a deadline now!
what were people talking about yesterday they were all mad at the powers that be
What about the moon landing?
http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/defense/1227842.html?page=1&c=y
This is all I will say on the subject, being that I saw the dang smoke from my freaking backyard!!
So shut your mouth's about 9/11 unless you know what the heck you're talking about.
Sorry,
I'm awfully excited by the DJDAN Podcast though! That's gonna rule!!!
Poor, Poor Transformers Michael Bay's gonna ruin you!!!
No prob belly! Probably the best response to 9/11 conspiracy junk! Especially the "Loose Change" Crowd!
Now where is Glyph #70??
I've asked this a few times and haven't gotten much feedback, so here I go again:
Does everyone agree with the frg order on Lostpedia.com? To me, it seems like the video is still missing more than just 1 piece. Maybe it is just the way the he.com player plays the clips, but I have watched it several times and still walk away thinking we are missing more pieces.
Feedback welcomed.
I didn't agree with the order until yesterday when somebody moved a few frag around!! With only one clip left the Lostpedia one seems the most plausible!!! Glyph 70 will make the difference. If it happens to be a mittlewerk clip then Lostpedia is way off
@diggitydirge
Timdorr's latest arrangement on Youtube seems to make sense, and I think it's using the Lostpedia sequence. I do think the way the HE player skips a little at the end of each clip can make it seem as though there are more missing fragments; so Timdorr's smooth run through of it is much easier to work from.
Although, even on his version, I think the sequence is either missing two clips, or is arranged incorrectly. The "Someone is going to hel-" line still doesn't make much sense.
diggity - You're probably right. Multiple segments are choppy. Rachel, unfortunately, likely couldn't locate the entire video. They've been incomplete all though Season 2, and those edits are probably very old, if not due completely to age.
dt7 - Are you sure that the cut-off line isn't where he realizes Rachel's back there, and cuts himself short?
thebookpolice:
That's possible but it just doesn't sound/look right to me. Mittelwerk's head moves quite a bit between those clips... it also looks like Rachel moves the camera to the left, but then ends up back in the same position without going right again. It looks consistent enough but doesn't make sense.
I agree, Let's keep it on LOST:

belly - Gawrsh! I hopes they don't spell nothin. ; )
This podcast is at 11:00am! That's awesome!! AS for the caller thing. IT sounded like their phone system had a really hard time taking international calls, they sounded the worst!!
See my subsequent post. This forum accepts many simple HTML tags.
popments chart icle biaSd HUH?
This is harder than a glyph hunt :)
Belly - We do actually say "Dude". But not as much as Americans. We also use "man". More UK like expressions though would be "Geeze" and "Boss". I've never heard anyone say "Gov'na". Some people call all women "Love" (I think the same ones that call men "Boss"). Sometimes people get called "Mush" or "Geezer" (which Geeze is short for).
Personally I have been known to say Dude and Man. I blame that on Wyld Stallions. Excellent!
thinbluemime - Close. : ) The pixel count of this font makes it tough in context. Gonna have to paste it into Word and figure it out. I'm not posting it in the open here, or THF will get me.
The second one's harder.
fenris - Do people on the street (in the appropriate geographical area) actually use Cockney slang? It's fascinating, but I feel like, in order to be truly fluent, you need some sort of flowchart or other handy reference guide.
OK, TheBookPolice, I feel a new font coming on :)
I'd also love to know what is missing between rgmr (although the equation has been buried by those who commissioned it) and 56whathaveyou (...panic...) as well as between 5be (and through your research you will help human...") and ingsomethingorother (We have contstructed several stations on the island). I guess we'll never know.
FYI, Speaking of the Milgram Experiment (way back when), I remember seeing William Shatner in a PBS movie (the b/w TV days)about that experiment, and it was pretty darned creepy. With screeming "subject" and all. Over the years I have tried to find a video of that, or even just the title, to no avail. IMDB didn't reveal anything familiar, and I can't even remember if it was a pre- or post-Kirk Shatner. I did recognize him in it at the time, but that may just have been because of his "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" fame. I know that probably not too many Tee-lekkers are old enough like me to have seen it when it aired, but are there any film-freaks out there that would know of it? Not important, and off-topic, just askin'. :-)
I dont have a wingding (no, it's a font, silly wabbit)
Fenris, they don't say "Brotha"??? I'm disappointed. :-)
Here is an even creepier Shatner fact
Virgin airlines offered W Shatner a FREE flight into space, and he said No, Thanks, I am scared I might die or throw up or both...Boo-Hoo
Helvetica's good.
capcom - Try here! It's the first listing in the Pop Culture section.
TheBookPolice , I thank Ye !

I Officially am requesting the Lost writers to incoporate a NEW Sawyer line for the above news story :)
"Hell, Freckles, thats like.......
TBM; I know, can you believe that?! Well, at least John Glenn still had the right stuff at 70 yrs old! But I'm with Shat, if I was famous, I'd hate to *ralph* in front of the entire world. Also, that Back Street Boy Band Guy had the chance and blew it somehow, and he's young!
Hey, thanks for the link-leads! :-)
Come on capcom and belly, haven't u seen Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels.
Sweet!! I can finally call in if they have a phone line.
Diggity; actually no. :-) Is that movie a good reference for UK colloquial?
hi. i know i havent been around much. i am at the internet cafe in my hotel in miami and i just wanted to see what was going on. i cant stay for long. every second is costing a lot of $.
i see there's a new djdan podcast coming soon. and it will be at a reasonable hour too.
Capcom,
Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels & Snatch help you pick up the UK slang. I also found the Osbournes quite helpful when it was on :)
monday lad,
"The Lost ARG is turning me into an insomniac!"
1:38 am, I'll join the bedbugs now.
...which probably means that #70 will be released in the next 30 mins...
(just like this morning when Ninja changed her myspace post like 10 mins after I checked there!) ah well
Night all.
What's up sean, not much going on...enjoy Miami
it was a total joke boyo...I was hoping to get a reaction from some of the uk folks.
I have actually worked with quite a few people who migrated from the UK. I think that is why I understand the speak, but I have to say "ruby" and "tommy" are a bit over my head.
Belly0--
I'm making some cluster****s right now from scratch.
And uh... speaking of 9/11, go herre to sign a petition demanding that ABC-Disney fess up on the partisan b.s. that's plaguing "The Path to 9/11"
It's absolutely disgusting the coloring of that day that is going on by conservatives.
And that ENDS my political rant. Promise.
good evening all! finally got my pic uploaded to WIA--can't wait for #70 to drop (gotta be tomorrow, right??) Hopefully I won't be too busy at work and can at least do some lurking if not active participation :-)
THAT WOULD SUCK BELLY...He better be Alvar. Well, tomorrow will be a glyphtastic day...
I have acquired Apollo bars! Yay!
Becky and I went to the Acura event at the ESPN Zone in DC. There was a nice lady with a zillion Apollos, handing them out one at a time. A guy who didn't know what he had got a Golden Oracle.
The best part was meeting TLE folk. We met Dazzedelf (Don) and his friend, Ron, KyleLane, LostBoy16, and Karen. We sat at the bar and talked LOST. It was great talking to people who understand what you're talking about. There was free food and beverages and when we left they gave us bags of goodies, which included Apollo bars. And the staff there were very nice.
We didn't win a car or anything but Becky and I got back in the Apollo Bar line and each got another. The lady still had a zillion of them but was sticking strictly to the one per person rule.
All in all, it was a lovely outing. I'm really glad I went. And we have extra bars for the trade!
Belly0-
About the "not," LMAO!
Or TVM saying "Let's keep this to ourselves but the next speech out of my mouth is going to be complete BULL****! So keep a straight face. Rachel? Got the camera rolling?"
Sounds like these Acura events are pretty cool. I'm going next Sat. to the Acura event in Santa Monica...Thanks for the good news
Belly, that comment ("not") made me chuckle...ty for that!
lostfanboy, I'm sorry I got your name wrong. I'm terrible with names and was so sure I had it this time. Darn!
wooooooooooooooooooooooooo 1 more and we will have every glyph but #70 so its been a good ride every1 but TLE is soon coming to an end. :*(. Well probly finsih all this bfore Seas 3 premere. But we still have ?'s in our mind like "Wat will bcome of rachel" or "wat will bcome of MW?" or lol somthing weve been wondering since we got that toll free number (good times)"Were is Alvar Hanso" Its been a good run guys its been a good run.
na man theres 3 phases this was the third the hanso foundation site was da 1st and rachels blog wast the scnd
wat?? thers more??!! ru serious???
but wat else could there b???
I just have to pop in to say a quick thank you to those going to the events and getting extra apollo bars. It really makes those of us stuck in non-apollo purgatory (Denver, in this case) able to participate in this phase.
And may I just say that missmegs and beachgrrl rule! They're making my Apollo dreams come true!
just a couple of theory things:
anyone ever think that hanso looking out the window in the beginning of the video is when they took the picture that is on the hanso website and in the show? he IS looking out the window of an office building, wearing what seems to be a similar suit. the video quality is even similar to the picture quality.
and second, has anyone discussed what the actual glyph symbols mean? are these just scribbles arbitrarily thrown out for aesthetic value, or do they mean something?
Great Theory, Mick (about Hanso looking out the window), that would tie the show and the ARG together very nicely.
Capcom Said:
Speaking of the Milgram Experiment (way back when), I remember seeing William Shatner in a PBS movie (the b/w TV days)about that experiment
Here is the movie you were talking about.
The Tenth Level
The second message contains characters both in bold and italics. Each typeface is an independent cipher. One is a simple letter scramble. The other is segmented. Each individual segment contains letters as they appear in the solution, but these segments are themselves scrambled within my full message.
This is kinda fun. I didn't think people would notice or care!
thebookpolice - Ish. (That *so* should be in the dictionary). I've never heard anyone string whole sentances together in cockney rythming slang except on random day time tv shows where they are talking about it likes it's this quant little fun thing. People do use elements of it. For instance it's not unheard of for someone to say they are "cream crackered". It should be mentioned of course that as it is slang from a very specific part of london and I don't live and never have lived in that part of london (or any part of london for that matter) I probably don't observe the bulk of it's use. I guess in a way, it was a verbal equivelent to hacker speak, except it's harder to learn so 11 year olds can't use it and it focuses on words rather then letters.
I'm far from an expert on it (and that is pretty much most people in England).
Capcom - I think that's just crazy Irish people :) But to be honest if you replaced Desmonds "Hello Brotha" with "Safe Geeze" it probably would have turned Lost into a comedy. Lol. But if they were going to do that they should have let Micheal do his "from the hood" speak and let Charlie have a broad yorkshire accent. That would have been hilarious. "Aye up luv", "Eee By Gum, I'll blacken thee eyes for thee in a minute!".
Damn, gotta go to work now. See ya all later.

HA HA HA - I don't think I've ever heard a Londoner use Cockney slang, unless they're doing it to take the p*ss out of themselves. although, you use nicknames for stuff. me and a few mates use words like...
green = mints/chewing gum
nuggets = pounds
Kentucky = unlucky
russ = bad mood
Slaters = bye
hang about = wait a second (out of order)
How's the FTSE? going up! = is she putting on weight? YES!
Nothing to do with TLE at all - and I'm sure other people use stuff like that...
Hi Guys
Anyone there -
Love the stuff about Cockney Slang, My father in law is a cockney but dosn't really use much slang. Where as myself being half Scots and half English use itquite a lot.
For example:
I don't have a scooby (scooby doo =Clue)
Your having a giraffe (laugh)
Your telling me porkies (pork pie =Lie)
Of course it's constantly evolving Having a couple of Britanys means going for a beer and unfortunatley for you guys in the Northern US I have years Americans referred to as sceptics (Sceptic Tank - Yank!)
With regards to 9/11 - this is a sensitive issue and I agree this is not the forumn for heated debate - Like wise I think you have to be careful with religion. I'm pretty open minded as I'm Pagan and my wife's Catholic but it can be a pretty sensitive issue. I am sure we have a whole range of beliefs (and lack of here) and I would hate to see this great community becomming a flame fest.
Personally whatever your faith or lack thereof - I don't care - you're all a great bunch of guys and gals...
I better get on with some work now :)
Hi Gavin
I used to work in London and I live south of London, as I said I use it as do others but not like every sentence. I certainly say I don't have a Scooby or your having a giraffe a lot and I probably use some without realising it.
Saying that my accent is a bit odd as I moved around so much as a kid - a bit of a long dorset aaa, a bit of souf London a wee bit o' Scots....basically I'm a bit of a mongrel
Hi Superdify
I think your right - it's the problem with globalisation - supposedly the fastest growing accent among teens in the US and UK is Australian, the Aussie habit of raising the pitch at the end of a sentance making everything sound like a question is becomming very common place.

You're a Pagan married to a Catholic and she hasn't tried to set you on fire???
Luckily not, she actually studied medieval witchcraft at Uni though as part of her history degree and so she'd have to correct you - It would be a good hanging here in England
So any clues for the final glyph yet?
Hi Gavin
You mean that you don't me haerties Aargh!
Seriously I love Cornwall and I must admit I found most people down in Cornwall seem to have quite a neutral accent.
When I was last in Cornwall it seemed to be full of Aussies!
My sister moved down to cornwall from Berkshire - so she's gone from farmer to Pirate!
Cool...
I guess the accent is all the same - lots of ooos and aaars!
ha ha - Think the berkshire accent is very posh actually! I often get picked up for saying Grars (grass), Carstle (castle), Barth (bath), Alllmond (almond) and scowne (scone). Mind you, I'm at the posh end of Berks! My sis says awlryt (alright (Imagine a pirate saying it))
I'm with you Boyo81 - it is posh, that was my point!
My girlfriend is from one of the small villages around Berkshire and is VERY well spoken! I'm from all over but have lived in this town for 15 years, so have picked up the "posh speak". Do get laughed at when I go to Bristol and brighton - "poshy"!!!
I have a problem with Almond my wife takes the piss as I say Armond - It's the remenants of my Dorset accent I think..
Yet again the American's are away and us Brits end up talking about English counties!
Sound's like my Cousins - half-German, half- English, borm in Switzerland, then spent a time in Chicago before moving to Australia.
So back to Lost - are you guys watching on Channel 4 or did you like me get it straight from the US?
WHAT MICHAEL DID IT??!
just kidding!
I watched Series 1 on Channel 4 and then went straight into Season 2 as I bought the fist 6 or 7 episodes of eBay, so I literally watched the season 1 finale and then put in the season 2 DVD. I then downloaded the episodes as they air. I'm now using Bit Torrent to get hold of Prison Break as it airs in the US so I will do the same when Lost airs. I do tend however to read the episode summaries and transcripts as soon as I can.
I think everyone will get a chance but I don't think it will be found until the US wake up
It'd be nice for it to be released before they rise though, so it's there for when they wake! and we can help wherever we can... not that I'm much help at all
3 hours!?!??!??!??!
I was up at the crack of dawn once! Lovely girl!

HA HA HA HA HA!!!
Well, Its Friday and It's Lunchtime so In time honoured fashion I am buggering off down to the pub for a lunchtime pint.
Don't you just love British office culture :)
See you guys in an hour or so
paw,
glyph #70 will be split up in 70 different pieces and will be hidden everywhere on the web over the next month...
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Dark Angel said... supposedly the fastest growing accent among teens in the US and UK is Australian, the Aussie habit of raising the pitch at the end of a sentance making everything sound like a question is becomming very common place. ...the habit of going up at the end of sentences has a name, it's called AQI, the Australian Question Intonation.
You stay classy, San Diego. I'm Ron Burgundy?
Dezzedelf-Giles Corey was indeed pressed to death and was incidentally one of the few men persecuted in the trials.
As for number 70...hoping it comes today, and that WIA will prove fruitful soon.
okay, guys I'm back. Had a good night's sleep and I'm ready for glyph #70.
I caught a news story yesterday about Apollo bars being sold on e-Bay if anyone wants to take a look: http://www.wsbtv.com/foodnews/9794644/detail.html. That's my first try at doing a link in a post; hope it works.
I really expected something sooner and I thought it would come from ABC.
I'll be lurking this morning then I'll head for Lexington, KY for another chance at a golden oracle.
Back from the pub guys -
Dazzledelf - If you were in Scotland or parts of Germany you were burnt alive, elsewhere it was either hanging or occaisionally crushed to death (heavy stones placed on your chest until you could no longer breath!)
I guess no sign of the final clue yet - oh poo! I will have to actually do some work.
.
TLCM said... I'll be lurking this morning then I'll head for Lexington, KY for another chance at a golden oracle.
I'll be there tonight too. I look forward to meeting you and Dixxee!
I went to the park yesterday, and they had a banner up for the event, which said 7:30, but I'll probably get there earlier than that.
BTW, Let me know if you need directions to the park. I live here in Lexington, so I can get you the easiest route.
Ah, Monday Lad - finally we are on at the same time, so that I can tell you that I LOVE your avatar! What a great picture of Roland.
Have you heard about the prequel comic that comes out next year? The art I've seen is fantastic!
On a Lost note, bring on that final glyph!
Didn't they used to test if you were a witch by throwing you in a lake? If you floated, you were a witch and if you sank, you were innocent. I always thought that was the greatest logic - well, looks like you were innocent. Too bad you're dead at the bottom of the lake now. But at least you weren't a witch!
The TLE ARG site monitor says that Rachel Blake's website (her travel one) was updated at 6:22 this morning. Any one have a clue what was changed?
lostmyid: that was an old clue for the gidgetgirl video. The blog that was updated is her travel blog http://www.rachelblake.com/ but I haven't been able to find anything on it that is new.
It depends very much in the time and the place. In some places if you accused someone of being a witch you were just told to shut up and go home. On the other hands bastards like Matthew Hopkins would hang you at a hint of the occult (or just because someone didn't like you) - although people saw sense in the end and hanged him instead!
Witches and Neighbours by Robin Briggs is very good
Not that I'm advocating violence you understand, generally being a pacifist at heart (yes I know I spent time as an army reservist but thats another story)
Morning everybody! I see we're still #70-less. I actually have to do things today, so I won't be around much. Good luck to all you Lexington Apollo hunters, and here's hoping we find #70 and it's 10 minutes long!

I'm using this map http://sweb.uky.edu/~mamcla2/jacobson.htm I found online. I'm coming from the north; does 64 become 75? that's they way it looks in the first picture.
re: RB's travel page changes...there's a little smiley face above the link to the Paris France link on the right hand side, but no corresponding link. (this doesn't make sense as i type, but if you look at the page it might) was there ever a link there? wonder if a "sri lanka" post will appear.
fasten
that smiley has been there for a while.
Hi Fastenyourseatbelts
Looks like thats were Glyph no 70 may come into play - I think we need to keep a close watch on RBs site
fastenyourseatbelts-- I think that is just for the post with the glyph from July 26th. since it has no title on the post, it doesn't have a link on the previous posts list. IMHO
there's a much bigger blank space right below the glyph. is anyone else seeing that?
New Ninja Post!
So that is part of Glyph 70?!
aaagh maybe it will be in 70 parts
Goooooooood Morning Losties!! I hope we get this final code today and can move away from fragments and HE...
Glad some of you had fun in Dc last night and got yourselves some LSD Candy!!!
I am going to the Philly event tomorrow and I am still waiting to hear if anyone else is going to join me...

Actually, that is the best way to go. If you get a google mape or something, it will have you drive through the city!!?!?!
The 64 merges into the 75 for a little while, but then continues on to WV. Make sure you get on the 75 south.

All these were just posted on Speaker's comments by DarkSidez. Not sure if they are part of the new glyph or not.
the flish slap is in no way glyph related - it is thing we saw when we chat with ninja is all.
I notice on the speakers last post he says Kiazi's children, their faces wet
any ideas?
I have the gylph it's PGVPE4EC it doen't work on hansoexposed yet but I have the picture
I don't have anywhere to post the picture someone give me an email to send it to
hurry..
The Picture of Speaker on Ninja's Site is from Monkey Magic a chinese tv series about a monkey god which we Brits used to get badly dubbed into English on BBC2 in the early 80s
another clue?
could say that I believe everything happens for a reason
Can anyone put these bits together??
there is no you
GOOD MORNING TLEC!!!
Catching up on comments and will be back with you guys shortly. Come on #70, please be today...
I just can help put the words together not the pics
Kiazi's children, their faces wet
comes from the Star Trek TNG episode Darmok
In it Picard and Darmok exchange stories and Picard tells Darmok a condensed version of the story of Gilgamesh.
Anyone remember Lockes Gilgamesh crossword Clue - Gilgamesh's best friend was Enikidu.
Could this be a clue
Also how do you get a wet face - fish slap!
yeah but we are still missing a piece?
guys I've got the image put together and sent it to the clues email.
It is working now!
PGVPE4EC
I just put the code PGVPE4EC in HE.com and it took it.
is it me, or has it been released and published??
the code works now
elpaw tops the leaderboard with 4! Congrats!

So that's it... the numbers are the value of the core factors of the Valenzetti Equation? Hey Mr. Beardy... how about telling us what those factors are?!
Thanks lostpedian!
well, this sucks. I can't get he.com to work for me. Good job finding the glyph tho!
dr no: What would be really interesting is knowing what those factors are and how they relate to the hieroglyphs.
This fragment only confirmed something a lot of us already suspected...
Here is the COMPLETE glyph: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lostchibbie/237658625/
"They say that everything happens for a reason. I wish I_ could believe that_"
Changing the Environment - mmn like Weather Control, genetically altered polar bears, Orangutangs and large green hurley birds ....
makes sense
So where does it go, where does it go...Hello , Hello ....
What the clip says:
Mr Beardy "Valenzetti gave numerical values to the core environmental and human factors in his equation. 4 8 15 16 23 42"
What would have been awesome:
"Valenzetti gave numerical values to the core environmental and human factors in his equation.
4 796 33 1 .067"
EXPLANATION
If you go to RachelBlake.com and "select all" (CTRL-A), you will see tiny little boxes scattered in the margins up an down the page. Each little box is a link to a glyph.
RachelBlake.com is where this all started...it is fitting that it is where it ends...
Now....what's next?????
Man, can somebody just tell me where this one goes. I want to get this stupid vid together on my HE.com. Obviously you guys have the whole video together, So please someone tell me, Thanks...
New Post!
I have #70 in between rxmhjh9y and
xqgrmh. I have all 70 in my saved video, so I guess it's right.
vitruvian: my take on it is the numbers are a means of weighting certain factors. thus say, the spread of disease has a weight of only 8 in the overall equation, but the number of dictatorships has a weight of 16. what will be really interesting is how they explain this to the non-arg players? math is not traditionally one of the things that draws viewers in.
