Clue #55 - Act 2? The "Premature" Rachel Blake Video

After much research, here is the skinny on the "Rachel Blake Video".

The video was found legitimately on Friday June 16 (almost by accident) on Monster.com. Here's how: The homepage had a poll that must have looked interesting to TLE followers b/c it has Jimmy Kimmel as the top choice. We took the poll and then clicked to view the results, there was a a link at the bottom of the results that said, "view our celebrity advice videos". For a short window of time, Rachel Blake's video was posted at the bottom of THIS page (and it will probably return there soon). We know for a fact that the video was there but then was taken away.

As best we can tell, Monster.com posted too early (everyone makes mistakes) and so they removed the link from their site almost immediately on Friday but not THE VIDEO FILE from their server until sometime Sunday night. It seems as though they've taken it off Monster for now, so try clicking HERE to see it in YouTube.

Here's what we think:
Read this ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY ARTICLE just out on Sunday and notice the following quote: "Produced in partnership with Lost's TV carriers in the U.K. and Australia, the Experience was conceived by ABC's marketing department and the show's producers as a three-act story steeped in official show mythology but involving new or peripheral characters."

The Hanso site and Persephone's hacks were Act 1. This new video is the introduction to Act 2. Monster just goofed and messed up the intermission. When the time is right we will have a more clear vision of Act 2.

By the way, this is particularly interesting to us because of our theory proposed on Podcast 1 & Clue #23 back on May 6th. Not to brag, but we kinda called it that Persephone = Rachel! Yes, we think Persephone and Rachel are one & the same (just listen to her say "Alvar"). In addition, there has been some discussion and we just thought we'd come out and say it that we really don't think that Rachel is Hugh's "girl on the side". But that's just our opinion.

Thanks to TheTruthTempest, Jack, Isaiah, and Alex for being the first to email.

It is a truly amazing video that hints at things to come. I would say that Phase II of the ARG has (or rather is about to) commence(d).

Awesome stuff...

I would also like to know how and who first found the monster video. others have said it was found by someone just searching the monster site, but using what search terms? I agree that it is always important to consider the source when receiving clues (and I believe JustWillow is completely legit - not an insider

shakey, I agree with most of what you said. Really good thinking.

Personally, I don't think that Rachel is the girl that Hugh was with in London. I looked at a pic with 3 screen caps of that girl. If you look at them while watching Rachel, I think you'll see that they are not the same.

Both young, both brown hair, but not the same.

admin/shakey - It looks like Hugh's mistress may have red hair(?).

nmmommie - I have to agree. I'm guessing Rachel B. is mid to late twenties. If she has been at it for the last 14 years, she would have started when she was 15-16 at the latest; not impossible, but I don't think that's the case.

And to the German person. Liked what you said too. And a lot of new posters who (including one who had just come on for the first time) had said in his/her first post something that I had never seen mentioned before. Nice to see new posts coming from fresh minds.

I have to say that when I watched the Rachel video I absolutely hated her. She buged me with every word she spoke. Like she was all smug or something.

Anyway. Sorry. Not important I am sure. What I found particularly interesting was the Rachel blog found by areroses. (just another example of first time poster - or maybe a mole) I doubt this though. Thanks for the info. I think it is most likely fake though. I cant seem to find out when the blog was created but if it was after the video was found then It seems unlikely. imho.

Anyway. I am now going to try digest the amount of info I have read.

About the tacosalad blog...

I just posted a comment on it although my first instinct is that it's fake. It looks like the posts were all created within minutes of each other. My guess is, someone watched the video, got an idea, and cranked out a few posts...pretty easy to quickly create travel logs. What do you think?

I imagine that Rachel's blog will not be a blog "of her trip" but will be a blog that ends with her saying that she is going away "on a trip". Her blog could be about anything...personal stuff, work stuff, other areas of interest.

We'll know soon enough. Remember, we probably aren't supposed to have seen her video yet.

Administrator - I have to agree with you about TPTB being pretty upset with Monster right now. I chalk this "leak" up to either a miscommunication between ABC & Monster, or a web admin thinking that nobody would find it until links were put up for it. So far, they've been pretty good about not putting things out until they want us to have them. I just have to wonder if they'll try to spin it into something else now, or just leave it for us to ponder over until they are ready to link us to it and put it into context.

Alright, I'm out for a bit, so good luck all! I'll catch ya l8r.

I wish I knew how to use Google blog search or whatever it was. As soon as Rachel's video appeared yesterday I commented on how soon till there is a fake blog. I googled in the hopes of finding something like Admin described... a long blog with the last entry saying she was going on vaction. This one looks suspiscious, though tacosalad rings a bell. Darn, that's gonna bug me till I go back and sus out where I heard that from.

I also tried week1_post2 but the error I got indicated that no such file existed. So if someone at Monster stuffed up, they only stuffed up a little :D

people have mentioned Dharma stuff on the Hanso site... I don't see it. When I try it with www.thehanso I get what looks like the normal site loading, but it's like freeze frame with no woman and no skip link (as others have mentioned). Entering by a bogus url (eg hole1.thehanso) gets the old site with no sign of Dharma.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the black and red Hanso site closed page is odd? It's rather jarring in comaparison with their "soothing" colour scheme when the site was working properly. It's rather reminiscent of DJDan actually.

Hmm, well her name is an anagram of Label Hacker. But that doesn't give it any authenticity, it's easy to come up with anagrams.

I think people are always too quick to say pictures look like they are the same person. The number of times people have been compared because they are both bald or have white hair and yet really look nothing alike is unbelievable. In this case it is pretty close, but I am really not convinced. For a start that looks like two different pairs of sunglasses to me. Not that she is incapable of changing sunglasses. But I'm also not convinced with the shape of her face either. It could be her, but it could also just be two different women.

I'm also not convinced this is in game. There isn't any new info (other then the possible reveal of herself, if it is indeed legit). The letters on her shirt seem to have "Alvar" in them with a L an A and a T left over. It's not particularly inspiring. The name link with the earlier clue doesn't mean anything either, anyone could access that. If it is legit the suggestion seems to be that she will be out of the game soon and so it is "up to us". Although what exactly we are supposed to do I don't know.

Okay, we know Persephone is up against it now that THF is taking her seriously. So apparently is DJ Dan although really I'm not sure what threat he is meant to poise. He runs a fringe conspiracy webcast which throws out all kinds of theories other then the hanso ones and has only recently focused on THF and Alvar Hanso. He recycles info from other people and aside from preaching to the converted what real damage can he do? There has to be a real life link between him and Persephone or else why would Hanso even bother with him? THF is down, and regardless of other ways to access the site and possible future holes (or other things) I don't think we'll be seeing new hacks of it for a while. But still up is ROT, DjDan, Hanso Careers (a possible new target?), The Horde (ditto?), Sub, Compass (and the hidden mail server thing there). ROT is pretty good at pointing us to new sites so that and Persephones seems to be the ones to keep an eye on for the moment.

Of course if Save Joop is in game now and this podcast is real then that could be the next key event. But to be honest, I doubt it. I have a feeling though there will be something else not exclusively based on the internet some time soon.

6/17/2006 06:48:00 PM
Blogger wojciechowski said...

some useless speculation:

the red notice we got in the end of the previous hack... it says: "THF site has been hacked by malicious infiltrators seeking to blemish the good work of many dedicated researches."

This might mean that Persephone wasn't alone. Then again, maybe THF just didn't know if there were many hackers or not.
In other words -- this might be something or nothing at all.

sighs :(

I've just had a more detailed look at Rachel's blog... what a time warp! The Copenhagen entry sounds like the start, but the Italian and Iceland entries come before it. And Iceland... "world’s premiere nightlife" probably just coincidence I heard a similar thing here in the last few days. And of course there is a mention of Vik. In the Copenhagen entry we get the word 'vacation'... it's either a heck of a coincidence, or fishy.

I also looked back at the main page for this blog to see how her travels may have fit in. I remember commenting at the time of the "lack of sleep" comment from P that she may have been travelling or jet lagged. That seemed a few days after this blog is dated. And if blog Rachel was in Copenhagen 15 days ago and film clip Rachel was there when the Hanso site went down (and they are the one and the same), she's basing herself there or has come back.

Why would Speaker delete links if it was legit? Even if it wasn't meant to be discovered right away, what damage is it going to do? What earth shattering info does the video give us other then P's identity? Passwords to things not yet active? That won't cause a problem if it's not active yet right? So what damage does it do if we think Persephone is Rachael? None that I can think of, unless P isn't her, or is a completely different Rachael (maybe someone who's real name doesn't have the letters for Alvar in it, because that would be too much of a co-incidence to consider it her real name!)

Mind you people don't always think of that. Some things mean very little and they get stressed by it. I mean the entire plot for the Da Vinci code seems to be based on the flawed premise that it would actually mean anything if the so called proof was to become public (I mean really who would both 1) Believe it and 2) Care enough to change religious affiliations)

Interestingly I said early about the letters on her shirt Alvar TLA. Well TLA is an acronym for "Three Letter Acronym". Lol.

6/17/2006 07:25:00 PM
Blogger maven said...

fenris: FYI: Rachel's shirt says Puerto Vallarta. Please don't anagram it! Also, most of us think this is ingame since Rachel showed a computer screen with THF shutdown on it (definitely can see the red lettering). There's probably no way to fake this since THF just got shutdown when the Rachel video was "found".

Blogger sean said...

i don't know. they're pretty careful about this kind of stuff. and it's not like she tells us anything we dont already know.

6/17/2006 07:51:00 PM
Blogger Fenris said...

Maven - Okay the T-Shirt says more then Vallarta, but why should that mean there is no anagram info? We've come across loads of anagram puzzles and if we assume this is a legitimate clue should we be assuming that the letters clearly on view on her T-Shirt have no meaning?

Alohaprincess - I can understand ABC being mad if we weren't meant to see it yet, but I don't understand their reaction. Pressuming they aren't stupid, what do they realistically expect to acheive? Also why sensor posts on the inside board and not take down the actual video itself? But if it is a misleading fake then I can understand their action. Well I can understand it a bit more anyway. At the very least I think this argument counters people saying it must be true *because* of the action taken against it. The truth is we don't know either way yet.

Also T-Shirt aside (and to correct my early comment). Why would they reveal P's real name and pick a name that has "Hacker" in it as an anagram? I don't find it very believable as a real name for someone that as their defining characteristic (that we know of) is that they are a hacker. Okay maybe it's an ingame suspension of disbelief moment. But I won't be convinced until I see definative proff it is in game.

6/17/2006 08:00:00 PM
Blogger Fenris said...

Actually wearing a T-Shirt with "Puerto Vallarta" on it is suspicious. Well to me anyway. Call it a hunch. But it seems a little out of place for a potential Persephone or other infiltrator to be wearing and the fact that you can anagram Alvar out of it is the kind of thing I would expect to occur to someone trying to create a fake. It's a tourist T-Shirt, the kind that many people probably have (but probably wouldn't take with them on covert ops). If I was to try and fake a video like this and I knew I had something like that, I would wear it. Also if I was to fake a video, I know I'd need to be do it quickly to seem as relevent as possible while still being plausable.

Okay, I suppose if you really wanted to look like a tourist you may wear it in a covert op, but that's why it's more of a hunch then a theory.

I'm also not ruling it out being legitimate. I do think she sounds a lot like Persephone (although I'm not convinced of the photo's suggesting she's Hughs bit on the side), and it is possible ABC just flipped and made some bad calls. But this is what my gut is saying right now.

6/17/2006 08:08:00 PM
Blogger Fenris said...

Marcus - you could be on to something there. It could be an ingame fake. That would be...uh, strange. It's certainly stirred up conversations and theories, so if that was it's intention they sucseeded. However as for Monster, well, given that people can post as Speaker on Speakers site, I'd be hesitant to say something is in game because it's on Monster. I don't honestly know how hard it would be to get a video on that site though. I'll have to investigate.

Hi All...long time since I've posted here. I have watched the Rachel video several times now, and have noticed things being moved in the shot with the edits. Specifically: When Rachel references Joop, the book about Copenhagen is at first showing the cover, then there is a skip/edit, and the book is laying open on the desk it seems, to the page of the map of Copenhagen she showed in the beginning of the clip. Secondly, towards the end of the clip, the book displays the back cover. I am wondering if this is a specific travel book on Copenhagen? It really looks like Lonely Planet: Copenhagen to me. Perhaps the map page of this book needs to be investigated.

Yes, you can create subdomains to forward people to other sites, that's fairly easy to do. But, if the work on the ITE site is to be believed (they've linked to it and it looks good to me), then the registration of rachelblake.com matches those of letyourcompassguideyou.com and sublymonal.

There's also talk of a new site registered...hasoexposed.com, which is apparently secured by the same guys.

but if you put something, anything before rachelblake, as in nothing.rachelblake.com it will take you to the Hanso site, although as will said it wouldn't havae to be in game to have someone forward to that site

Also, lab rats are used quite commonly for experiments, and his experiment related to the effects of heavy water in comparison with normal water on living creatures.

It is certainly a scientific venture, at best inspired by the LOST Experience.

Now, I am sure that he is knowledgeable and mature enough to determine whether an experiment is worth partaking in, considering that it is his profession. So, I am not inclined to disagree with the man's practices no matter how they might ever go against my possible opinion, though currently they have not.

He was simply giving us his results to an experiment that appeared to possibly relate. If he wishes to do that in the future, I see no harm in it, since I trust his professional judgment.

I do agree, TETF.

I don't mean to be lackadaisical about it, but such actions will most likely occur whether we desire them or not. I agree that such experimentation without researching if it has been done before is negligent and a bit disappointing.

In the future, if an experiment appears necessary, we should investigate its necessity first and then proceed with it if the result might actually have some unique worthwhile finding to it.

It is a game, and a rather enrapturing one at that. It is a less defigned game that few are used to. Thus, it is understandable that reaching outside the bounds of proper participation will occur, if only so that over time, as a community, we can learn what action is truly appropriate and within the realm of experiencing the game.

It is of course sad that ARG as a medium is not well-known, and so much about how to partake in it shall be set in boundaries on the basis of trial and errors.

So, keep fighting for proper restraint in the game and make your voice heard so that people can better understand the overreaching rules to a seemingly unrestricted game.

Thank you for your current and future efforts toward making the community an even brighter place.

Sincerely,
The Truth Tempest

*hug* Don't worry about it, man. I'm sure you meant well, but in the realm of it being just a game, it really was a bit out of line and unnecessay. I'm sure there are many experiments that you can help with that don't involve live animals, and your help will still be quite valuable.

1) the video featured the Dharma symbol. RB herself stated that it's REALLY-REALLY top secret. how would she gain access to such a logo then? probably by hacking!
2) "But a doctor of what?! /I/ dug for any evidence... " Well, busted?

Wow. Okay good thinking Will. If the rachelblake.com site diverts to Hanso when you put in a different prefix then it is either a very clever hoax or definetly ingame. If it was such a clever hoax I would have thought something would have been done about it by now. But then who knows.

So here are some questions.

1) Why are links to the video being deleted of the Speakers site, and not other ABC sites and why is the video still up if ABC really don't want it up?

2) What's with her name? Why reveal it? and is it really just a co-incidence that her name is an anagram of Label Hacker or is this just another alias (I'm sure dropping the name of that series is more then just a co-incidence).

3) What new information does the video provide other then a name and a face? She doesn't tell us anything else new, but there is a lot of wierdness in the video, so is the video to give us a clue to the user name and password for her personal site, and the real info is in there?

4) Bit young isn't she? She seemed a bit, um, amatuerish as well.

Still I suppose it makes a certan amount of sense - an amature spy that's good with computers, a paranoid conspiracy nut DJ and a group of internet nerd web designers/developers try and take down a major corporation. No wonder they need our help. It's certainly made me feel our role really is vital, so maybe that was the whole point. If Persephone really knew what she was doing she probably wouldn't need the help of the fans of the "fictional" TV show Lost.

Anyway I think what we need to do now is make a note of every bit of info in that video and see if it leads us to login details. I suspect there is a good chance that the log in name would be Persephone or possibly Sydney Bristow (from Alias).

Oh yeah and

5) Are we meant to be activating a suspension of disbelief on this and DJDans site going to Hanso's when you put in different prefixes? I mean, why would the Hanso Foundation host these sites? They obviously wouldn't unless they were both Hanso Cronies. Maybe it's there to help indentify legitimate sites.

If this is a very clever fake then we need a statement from Speaker about it to that fact because without a statement I think we are all going to assume now it is legit.

Misleading The Hanso Foundation by giving a false name?

And: "If Persephone really knew what she was doing she probably wouldn't need the help of the fans of the "fictional" TV show Lost."

In this so called 'alternative reality' Lost as a TV show shouldn't actually exist. Oceanic flight 815 fell down, Driveshaft is a real band etc.

whoever is producing this ARG screwed up the alternative reality with Hugh mentioning the show on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
it's not that important, but i needed to get it off my chest -- in ARG "Lost" can't exist! it would be downright silly...

blue el - I have to disagree about "Lost" the series not existing in the ARG. As SPEAKER mentioned on ITE, it is not uncommon for television series to be created from actual historic events. I think that in "real reality" the show is fictional and the events are based on fictional companies, people, etc. Inside the ARG, however, the series could be based on "actual" events, "actual" companies, "real" people, etc. Inside the alternate reality, I think we should consider "Lost" the series to be at least partially based on "real" events.

I know this can be a little confusing, but Alternate Realities aren't supposed to be simple, right?

you're right. they're not simple :D

and it's driving me crazy atm! i thought that everything happening on Lost had to be real. well, not 'real-real', but 'alternative-reality-kind-of-real'.

the best example i can give you is Dr.Marvin Candle.
remember a ghostly picture in one of the hacks (tobacco field one)? it was a picture of Marvin Candle. now, in this 'alternative reality' he is considered fictional, being on Lost and all...

do you catch my drift? my english kind of sucks because i'm not a native speaker and it's a bit difficult to make myself clear.

but anyway, if Lost is fictional in this alternative reality too, then why would there be a picture of Marvin Candle on THF??

it's all because of that stupid Jimmy Kimmel Live :D Hugh shouldn't have mentioned Lost being a fictional show. the reality-feel is definitely gone for me.

laughing - I think you're right, and judging by the video, I think she expects it. This may be her way of "passing the baton". Until we see the video in its intended context though, I don't think we'll be able to do more than speculate as to what the goal of it is or who the "intended audience" is. Perhaps this is a preview of a communication from Rachel B./Persephone to the RoT group, and we're all just an unintended audience(?).

Most of this will be in our post on Monday but since there is so much discussion...

Nightmaremommie is right. The video was found legitimately (almost by accident) on Monster.com. The homepage has a poll that looks interesting to TLE followers b/c it has Jimmy Kimmel as the top choice. When you take the poll and click to view the results, there is a a link at the bottom of the results that says, "view our celebrity advice videos". For a short window of time, Rachel Blake's video was mistakenly posted at the bottom of THIS page (and it will probably return there soon). I know for a fact that the video was there but then was taken away.

Monster posted too early and so they removed the link from their site but not THE VIDEO FILE from their server. It was too late...the URL for the file was already out and it spread virally despite the Speaker's futile attempts to keep it hushed. In retrospect, he probably fed the flames...but what could he do.

Now, read this ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY ARTICLE just out today and notice the following quote: "Produced in partnership with Lost's TV carriers in the U.K. and Australia, the Experience was conceived by ABC's marketing department and the show's producers as a three-act story steeped in official show mythology but involving new or peripheral characters."

The Hanso site and Persephone's hacks were Act 1. This new video is the introduction to Act 2. Monster just goofed and messed up the intermission. When the time is right we will have a more clear vision of Act 2. Let's all just wait and see what happens.

In the meantime...let's all be sure to take a second and look back and make sure everyone is clear about Act 1.

So it seems official that much of the stuff that is being researched here will explain a lot of background on season 3 of lost.

Quote from article admin posted (thanks sooo much for that)

"insists ABC's senior VP of marketing Mike Benson. ''But at the same time, it will answer questions for fans that reach back to the beginnings of Lost and even give you information leading up to season 3."

This re-inforces to me the need to have a seperate research blog which doesnt necessarily follow the clues of the game but will talk about all of the other aspects of the game. The who is, and what is, and how do they do part of the game so to speak. I think that it is with the help of such a thing that we will be able to come up with a complete a picture as possible of the goings on.

Also if official speakers are saying about giving information leading up to season 3 then it shows that the tie in with the series really is pertinent to understanding (and enjoying) the series more. Although I still think the tie will be more background stuff rather than focusing on the characters we have in Lost right now (although desmond and widmores may be an exception and may well led to me being completely wrong).

Oh well. just my 2 cents for now (in UK and I do not think the expression 2 pennies for now works so used cents).

Sorry for rambling. And thanks again to admin for being so thoughtful in how you put your posts in.

LOST may be real as far as the game goes, but currently that is not a solid position. The game currently prostrates that the show is just a show based around a real island and a real plane crash.

The Hanso Foundation seems to say that it is morbid how the LOST writers are using a real plane crash in their "mythology", but clues seem to indicate that at least the island and the DHARMA project are real things simply referenced by the writers of LOST.

It is still possible that the LOST show is "real", but ever since the Hugh McIntyre interview, it has looked like the LOST Experience ARG's position is that the show is just inspired from real events.

Administrator and those concerned:

I am currently working on formulating a blog page that goes through each clue of The LOST Experience with the aim of highlighting what these actions might mean.

Also, a major theme of the site will be about looking at what this ARG means and perhaps what we are learning from it, as though this is a large experiment at something new. It is an experiment in game-formulation and the creation and integration of an alternate reality deeply enough that how far people will go toward getting answers poses real moral and social questions. In a game with seemingly no restrictions to its reach, where are our bounds to be?

Look for it to come up in the next week as Act 2 begins and P makes her move.

Well, Flight 815 was "lost" and crashed, but since they have never found the crash, they are designated as "missing" instead of dead. People are not officially registered as dead until their body or evidence of their death is found.

For all the world knows, Flight 815 could have gone off course and landed in Antarctica and all of the passengers are populating the frozen continent.

But that would be ridiculous. As far as in-game, Gary Troup is "missing", but as we know from LOST, he is probably dead. Currently nothing in the game directly contradicts the show; so we can't say they differ in realities.

Now, trevor, are you meaning to say that ITE is no good? Or that it is crazy?

Well, compared to here, it is really nutty, but it matches more with the full audience of the LOST Experience. Here we have for the most part the nicer people that think. ITE is a community of that demographic plus every other type of person. So, in a way, it is rather chaotic in comparison.

Regardless, most of my stuff is on there. ctrl+f "tempest" over there and I believe I have some alright stuff. I'm doing my best to help that community be more civil-minded. Hopefully it'll work sometime soon. heh. ^_^

*patpat* That's because you're special.

nah nah. That would be ridiculous. Of course you aren't special. (Shutdown)

heh. Sorry. Anyway, to helpfulness.

Is your link to The Hanso Foundation anything besides www.thehansofoundation.org?

If it is http://thehansofoundation.org or http://asdflmnop(anything).thehansofoundation.org, then it will not say it is shut down.

Cool, right?

But the "most recent" hanso site is always www.thehansofoundation.org. So, it means nothing that your fave works. Sorry, brother.

Found this strange recording on another site. I know this is not in game, but It's a delightful 70's style recording about the myth of Perseophone! Enjoy!

This is the same as clicking on "inquire today" where you would put in the password "light sequence again".
Anyway - I cannot see the password working anymore though as we cannot get back into the main site using www. as the site is down. And using anything other than www. gives us the site but it generally will not accept passwords.

The dots are all the pieces of info that we have taken from the game so far. I would say that the soon to be ready, new research blog would be a major part in joining these dots. Liked the comment about use inadvertantly doing all this hard work for THF for free. Fact is, the way I see it, we would all fall for it hook line and sinker on our quest for the TRUTH.

I don't know why you find that you can use Hanso site and passwords work. Are you saying that you can get the "recluse" password to work again? I cannot once I have used it. I can reset the site by clearing the "FLASH" cache for the site but not by any of the other methods eg cookies, Temp internet files, history and offline files. I feel though that when discrepencies like this occur it is generally down to some technical glitch so there is little point in spending time on it I think.

I have seen information like that done on a number of different sites other than the Hanso one (eg to try and confirm a site is fake or not).

I am not so sure that we are supposed to look up all this www registry information on the different sites to get clues so anything we find, though interesting, may have no relevance to playing the game.

On another note though I feel that it may be interesting to get as much of this info from the sites inc ROT, broadbandstories etc; then compiling it all in one place and extract the important (seemingly) bits from it like addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. The reason I think this is because there have been many discussions about taking this game to Hanso by contacting all e-mails etc to try to get some kind of response. I feel this info may help. Sorry if anyone does not understand as I am work and typing this in a real hurry.

Good work though spfx.

I'm sure somebody's already brought this up but you can still get into the hansofoundation.org through "hole5."

I know about hole5. It gives you the same as hole6, 7, 8 and so on. And anything.thehansofoundation.org gives the same again. My experience with this (including hole5) is that the site doesn't run as it should when accessed another way than www.thehansofoundation.org for example the usual passwords etc do not work. Basically I would gather that this is normal and the only site to concern ourselves is the main www. one.

Anything is worth a mention though.

That's pretty much what I figured. I still need to check to see if you can watch the last video clue again before it locks you out. That would be a good to go back and review stuff for people who either didn't pay enough attention the first time or for new people who want to see all of the old stuff.

TTT, you found that video too on the Monster.com website? I was looking at it last night (I think it was in the "pop" directory ... ??) and no matter what I tried to do, I could not get it to play. Couldn't help but wonder if that was to be the next clue.

Or are you just being your usual cryptic philosophizing self? :)

Hi, I'm new on the comment board, but not new to the site. I've been keeping up with you guys, awesome work.

I've been thinking about all the wigs, and all the secrecy...

For some reason, I have a feeling, since shes going to be in disguise and all, the second part will be like where in the world is carmen sandiego...

I could be completely wrong or who knows, they've suprised us before.

Shakey, I believe it was the hack with the news article on micro-fiche ... and it wasn't spoken, it was sort of "hidden" in an overlay on one of the pictures that came up.

Unless we're talking about different hacks ... ???

You guys have been busy this weekend!! WOW!! It took me all morning to read up on this post...I am puzzled...Maybe these two women are twins...one good, one bad...other than the book saying the twins are men, it is a possibility...or even a clone!!

Very interesting indeed!

So I was all excited, because I noticed Persephone's site updated! Then I went to ITE at the suggestion of endless to see what they updated with, and saw they mentioned it. Does it still count as a find on *this* board? LOL

BTW, it's freaky. Anyone who visits with headphones on (I hate to disturb my co workers) should make sure the volume isn't turned up too high.
